The sound of my ringing phone bought me back into the reality from my dream land ...I slowly squinted my eyes getting acquainted with the beams of uncomfortable light flashing into my eyes through the open blinds of our room...
As I opened my eyes reluctantly ...I am gifted with the sight of my husband standing in front of the dressing table .....getting ready ??
I smiled peacefully as I sat up.....looking at him ..or to be more clear....ogling at him...
My gaze seemed to burn him becuz he met my eyes through the mirror and his lips immediately stretched into a sexy smile ....
My phone ringed again .....forcing our moment to break ...I looked at the caller id only to findout that it's Ayaan ...
That already dampened my mood ...but I decided to take the call not to give a chance to him to doubt my intentions ...as I voiced a sorry to my husband who sighed but nodded still looking at me through the mirror ...
I placed the phone on speaker ...as I took the call
"Hello....Mara ....what happened? ...did u apologize to him?...did he beleive u? ...did our plan succeed ....?"Ayaan rambled as soon as I took the call
"Hello ..yeah...he believed me ...thanks to your intelligence ...it worked ..."I rolled my eyes and looked at Abhi to see him smirking at me through the mirror ..
"Ofcourse ....ur Ayaan is so intelligent....but r u planning on doing something today ?"he asked
"Why should I ?"I feigned as if I dont remember that today is my Abhii's birthday ..
"AREY AMARA ...TODAY IS HIS BDAY ...HOW COULD U FORGET WHEN U R PLANNING ON TRAPPING HIM IN UR LOVE ...U SHOULD HAVE ATLEAST WISHED HIM...HOW WILL HE BELIEVE U IF U R LIKE THIS "he screamed making me wince at his tone and Abhi scowled
"Aww...thank you Ayaan....thank god ...becoz of u ...I remembered ...it's not too late yet ...I will wish him ..and buy him some gift in the evening...."I managed to speak out hiding my irriation ....
"Hmm...but may be he will take u to the grand party tonight....that bastard never leaves his business ...its his first priority....so u may not be at home...tonight...?"He asked
"What party ?"I gritted ...as I am irritated by him badmouthing my husband ...
"Arey ..the one ...which happens every 2 years ...where the top businessmen all over India will gather...this time it's being held on his birthday ...but it's far from mansion for u to return in the night ...so I guess dad advised u guys to stay at our guest house near that area tonight "he informed
"Oh....I see ...will you come ?"I asked ...praying in my mind for him to say no..and I understood that my prayers worked as he answered ..
"Unfortunately no...my startup is facing few losses recently and Dad and mom are forcing me to meet guruji along with them tonight to discuss about it ...so we will be leaving today afternoon and won't be coming till night "He stated making me release a sigh of releif ..
"Really.....I'm so saaad....what if he does something with me as u won't be there ?"I whined looking at Abhi through the mirror ..making him rise his eye brows amused at me ...as I smirked
"He can never do something like that .He can't hurt u ..never "Ayaan stated firmly shocking me and may be Abhi too as I saw his lips parted in confusion ...
