Abhimaan:

My mother's face twisted in confusion as she saw her beloved son walk into the room, guilt written all over his face. Ayaan stood beside her, took a deep breath, and spoke, his voice trembling slightly.

"Mom, I am sorry," he repeated, the words heavy with unspoken regret.

Priya's eyes flashed with a mix of irritation and confusion as she caught sight of my arrogant smile. "Sorry? For what?" she demanded, her voice sharp. Ayaan met his mother's eyes with unwavering resolve. "For removing the bullets from your gun."

Priya's eyes widened in shock and rage. "You did this? This is not the time for jokes, Ayaan! There's no way you did that!" she hissed, her voice laced with warning. "You're on my side. We planned this together."

Ayaan shook his head slowly, his gaze shifting to Amara, still unconscious and fragile in her chair. "I was on your side, Mother. But I can't go through with this. I can't watch you destroy Amara."Priya recoiled, as if Ayaan's words had struck her like a physical blow. Her shock was evident, her composure shattered.

"As much as I enjoy this mother-son drama, I want the antidote," I interjected, taking advantage of the fact that Adi's guards had already overpowered Priya's. I stepped toward my wife, gently cradling her face in my hands, relieved that she wasn't straining her neck.

"You think I'd give that to you?" Priya spat, her voice filled with venom.

"Geez, lady, he wasn't asking you," Kabir retorted, as he and Veer rushed over to us. Veer knelt in front of his unconscious sister, rubbing her feet, while Kabir took her hand, doing the same.

"What—" Priya began, but her sentence was cut short by the sight of her beloved son. Ayaan was pulling another vial of the antidote from his pocket, which he handed over to me without hesitation.

"AYAAN!!!" Priya screamed, her voice a mix of betrayal and fury.

"Zade, help them. You guys can continue your drama now," Aditya urged, clearly intrigued by the unfolding spectacle. Zade approached us. "Give that to me. I know how to administer an antidote," he offered, his tone calm and professional. I handed the antidote to him with gratitude, relieved to have someone who knew what they were doing.

Zade injected the antidote into the nerve at the center of Amara's left upper arm. I watched anxiously, unable to discern whether it was working. "It takes time," Zade answered my unasked question, making me nod in understanding.

A sharp slap echoed through the room, drawing everyone's attention. Ayaan stood there, holding his cheek, while Priya seethed with rage. "What the hell did you just do? You are my Ayaan, my son, who would do anything for me but never against me. There's no way!" Her voice wavered, caught between disbelief and fury.

Ayaan nodded, his expression resolute. "Yes, Mom, I am the same Ayaan. I can do anything for you. I could even assist you in killing every living thing in the world. But not her, Mom. Not Amara. She is mine. No one can take her from me."

Priya's face contorted with rage. "You fool! She's nothing but a reminder of the man who rejected me! You were with me in my plan to marry her and make her suffer! How could you betray me like this after everything I've done for you?"

Ayaan's expression softened, but his resolve remained firm. "Mom, I was with you in every other plan. But not that one."

"What does that mean?" she demanded, her voice trembling with frustration. "I never wanted to torture Amara! I agreed to marry her on your advice because I loved her. I wanted to destroy Abhimaan along with you because I feared he might steal her from me. He's very capable of that. I nodded to your plan, but I never agreed to it. I wanted to marry my Amara and take her away from all of you, to a place where it would be just her and me. Where only I would have all her attention!" Ayaan's voice broke with emotion, the depth of his obsession clear.
