KARERA: I thought we already had a group chat. Why did you make another one? Why'd you add kei? No offense.

DAIYA: you need to come to my house. NOW

KARERA: uh, i think we're all busy kid

DAIYA: i don't care. It's important.

Karera had been right in assuming that everyone was busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Still, by some stroke of luck, everyone that had been added to Daiya's clandestine group met in the living room a few hours after she sent her last message.

"I swear, if this is some kinda prank..." Joshu said, bobbing his knee up and down.

Josuke frowned, his hands stuffed deep into his pockets. "They're fine, though, right?"

"They should be," Yasuho said. "They should be with Rai right now."

"Mamezuku Rai? Why are they meeting with him?"

"Jealous?" Joshu sneered.

"No, just curious."

Karera sniffed. "As long as he's not like that dickwad Tooru, I don't give a shit. Speaking of which, I personally crafted their breakup message to him. You're welcome."

"About time." Joshu pointed a finger at Yasuho. "I don't know why it took you so long to tell them he was your ex. You made things awkward for you for no reason."

"I was the one who told them," Karera said. "Yasuho probably wouldn't have said anything even if the two got up and married."

"I didn't want to mess things up," Yasuho said, flushing. "It's not my place to judge who they fall in love with."

"Except that Tooru isn't the best person to fall in love with," Josuke pointed out. "I'd want to be told if the person I liked was—"

"A slimy son of a bitch," Karera and Joshu somehow said at the same time. They stared at each other, then scoffed.

"Say what you want but I'm still getting ready for my proposal," Joshu said. "Unless they want to lose it all, I'm their best choice."

"Hell will freeze over before they fall in love with you," Karera said. She draped an arm over Yasuho and Josuke. "I'm personally betting on these two cuties to sweep them off their feet. What are you two waiting for?"

Yasuho and Josuke both immediately looked embarrassed. Thankfully, Kei chose that moment to poke her head into the living room.

"Daiya is ready to see you now," she said tonelessly.

"Aw, I'm willing to give you a chance too," Kei said, squeezing Kei's arm as she passed. "I know they have a thing for you. You're pretty hot so I'll allow it."

Kei blinked, then frowned. "It would not be wise for them to fall in love with me."

"Playing hard to get. Atta girl," Karera said, winking.

Daiya's room was a riot of girlish and cutesy things. Everyone gave a collective shudder as they passed through the door frame.

"Alright, what the hell is this about?" Joshu said, spinning his sister around in her swivel chair. "If you're wasting our time I'm gonna beat your ass."
