"Oh my God, I'm in love!"
"I'm basically drooling.."
"Shit, I might as well cum at the sight of this."
"Y'all are so disgusting," I giggled, watching Viviana and Sveva squeal as they took in the city that never sleeps.
I drove the streets towards Club Hades, a bit of confusion on my part because this was the same night club Nava and I went couple months ago when there was a cross fire between the boss and Artem's men.
And now...now with everything I know...it was obvious.
Nava knew. He knew exactly what was happening that night. He knew who was behind it. He knew I had no clue. And he still used me like a pad.
My hands tightened on the steering wheel. How could I have been that stupid?
Girl, stop thinking about that bitch.
We came to get drunk and irresponsible tonight.
My subconscious huffed, hands on her hips like bitch, get it together, and honestly? She was right. I needed to forget. If I didn't, I'd give in to the rage simmering under my skin, march straight to Nava myself, forget every rule about protecting a civilian, and blow his guts out for what he did.
Did Rosa even know her "dearest man" was a backstabbing bitch?
And if she did...
Oh, that would be a whole different problem.
I shook my head, no I didn't even want to think about what would happen to our friendship if she knew.
Sveva slapped my shoulder from the backseat, snapping me out my spiral.
Surprisingly, the bulky bouncer let us into the pounding club without checking our ID's. Strobe lights flicker across the area and I had to adjust my eyes to it's quivering unsteady colors.
I spotted a tall, long‑blonde‑haired woman perched at the bar, her legs crossed, water in hand. A grin split my face instantly and I pushed through the crowd, leaned in close, and yelled right into her ear.
Rosa shot up from her seat and was about to let me have it with a long string of curses when she snap her head to me. I smiled as her mouth drop open, tears welled up in her eyes and she instantly drew me into a bone-crushing hug.
"Can-cant, breathe."
"Suck it up, bitch," she sniffled, squeezing harder. "I haven't seen you in forever. Nava wouldn't give me the time of day, kept saying you were 'busy' and he didn't want the calls traced."
Yeah. Because he knew damn well Lorenzo would've smelled what he was cooking the second he let me talk to you.
I rolled my eyes inwardly and smiled softly as she pulled away from the hug, her grin lighting up the whole bar.
"I heard you're pregggooo," I teased, wiggling my eyebrows.
She scoffed, swatting my arm. "See? This is exactly why I don't tell that bastard anything. Ugh, he can't keep his mouth shut. Oooooh! Aren't you going to introduce me to your big friends?"
Viviana threw her head back and laughed, clapping her hands. "Finally I get to meet the mysterious Rosa!"
Sveva leaned over, smirking. "I was beginning to think you only existed in Aurora imaginary land."
I groaned dramatically, rolling my eyes. "Imaginary land, huh? That's fucked up. Rosa, meet Viviana and Sveva. As you can see they are the ultimate troublemakers that I accidentally met."
