Lorenzo directed me to the airport, which took us less than five minutes.

Indicating off to another road that would lead us to the runway, I drove up to the black jet parked on the level ground which had three black SUV's waiting before it.

I grinned when I spotted Sveva and Viviana along with Fire and Rafael, who were all standing at the steps that led up to the entrance of the jet.

Reversing into park, Lorenzo and I exited the vehicle and walked over to them. This caught their attention and drew instant smiles across their faces.

A few of Lorenzo's men took our bags out from the car and carried them towards the jet and I turned toward an annoyed Fire.

"Boss we are behind on schedule, I will never understand your meaning of proper timing." Fire scoffed as he throw a tatted arm over Viviana shoulder's.

"We just arrived one minute ago, stop being difficult." Sveva muttered to which the red-headed scowled.

Lorenzo didn't even answer. He simply adjusted Xam on his side, one protective hand smoothing down her back, the other still resting lightly on the back of her head.

And he climbed the steps, Fire watched him and then turn to me, eyes narrowed into slits in pretense mockery.

"When are you going to stop making that man ignore my enchanting presence. Ugh, I'm sick of you always hovering around him all the damn time."

"Oh please your presence is anything but enchanting."

"Shut u-"

I grinned and flick him a middle finger as we all enter the jet with the doors automatically closing shut.

"You don't want to finish that, I would be more than happy to wake up Xam so that she can belittle your ass with her gun." I mocked.

"Ahh that incompetent ass of a ki-"

"Fire, finish that sentence and I'll remind you exactly how replaceable a second‑in‑command can be."

Lorenzo grunted as he sat on a black long leather couch to my left. On the right side another long couch ran which Viviana and Gia along with a huffing Fire sat at the moment.

White wool carpet ran in the middle of the jet flooring and just behind the couches, placed at the corner, there resides a bar stocked with liquor.

Rafael and Sveva were both at the counter, chatting and I quirk a brow as her cheeks burn in a blush.

I sent Rafael a wink and he rolled his eyes while trying to hold in a smile.

I made my way beside Lorenzo seeing that the other couch was a bit occupied and sat beside him.

He gave me a long look with a short smirk and then bring his attention back to his laptop, the screen illuminating his face as the jet lights flickered off due to our departure.

I pulled my phone out, sending a heads up to Nava about our exit and then in less than an hour, we all settled down as the jet took off on the runway.

____

"Boss, it's been a while." A thick dark skin muscle-bound man with curly black hair which was trimmed in a neat taper fade, and was owner to a set of dark gray eyes, grunted as we pull up to the security check point.

Lorenzo nodded with his forearm on the edge of the driver's window as his dark irises contracts as the rising morning sun hits them.

"Long time don't see Axel."

A set of deep dimples were presented in Axel's cheeks as he spoke. "Before I let you all into the compound, just kindly asking everyone to scan their fingerprints here so that we can format your personal identification into the Black's security system."

Axel held out the portable scanner. "Just fingerprints for the system. Quick and easy."

My pulse kicked, but I kept my face relaxed and nodded in understanding. I wiped my fingers on my jeans-pretending it was nerves-then let the moisture smear lightly across the scanner's surface.

A small swipe, a shifted angle of my fingertip, and the device captured only a partial print, exactly what I needed. The machine beeped, accepting it without question and automatically filing me under a temporary access profile. Lorenzo didn't look twice.

Xam giggled as she pressed her tiny hand to the pad next. I exhaled quietly that they wouldn't figure out my real identity.

After a few minutes, Axel let us through and Lorenzo drove the SUV down a long drive way which had a hectic amount of palm trees on either side of the brick drive way.

The location of the safe house was out of civilizations, and at the same time was not too far out of the city which was good enough for me because I needed to see Nava and showed him the bit of information I gathered.

He drove up to a cream-colored mansion that was home to a stunning landscape surrounding the area.

"Papa, is this going to be our new home?" Xam asked curiously behind the dark window as she press both of her palms on the glass with her nose sinking onto the surface.

She looked really excited and I smiled while glancing around myself. The view was stupidly stunning.

Lorenzo glanced at her and replied. "Yes princess and you are going to love it, wait until you see the pool."

Xami gasp and then clapped her hands. "Fuck, I can't wait to get some sun on my skinnn."

Lorenzo frowned at her curse words and had the audacity to look at me with a stern look.

I narrowed my eyes. "Don't even think for a second that I'm influencing your child with shit like-"

He cut me off and hissed. "You're proving my fucking point."

I rolled my eyes at his hypocrisy. "And you're not helping the situation either you dumb ass."

"As a matter of fact, if you're looking for the culprit, direct your anger to your red‑headed, heavily‑inked, walking bad‑decision of a friend." I scoffed while Xam yelled in perfect support from the back.

He scoffed under his breath. "Keep talking, Aurora. One of these days I'm going to spank that ass until you don't have anything smart left to say."

Xam squeaked. "HEY daddy what does that even mean?!"

I snickered underneath my breath, my nipples taut at his promise. He drove the SUV around a statue and stopped at the steps that led up to the tall double white doors.

Two other SUV's came up behind us as we exited and I rolled my eyes at a whining Fire.

I swear I'm so gonna kill his ass.

How Viviana took his bull-shit was beyond me.

He saw my glare and instantly hid behind Sveva. She glanced at him like he had rabies, then looked up, saw my expression, and burst out laughing.

"Are y'all ready for the concrete jungles where dreams are made of in New York?" Fire shouted from the top of the stairs which made zero sense because he was just hiding behind Sveva two seconds ago.

I couldn't help laughing helplessly. Xam, with her tiny arms wrapped around Gia and Angelo on either side, muttered just loud enough for all of us to hear.

"Not with your ass."
