Mattheo's pov

very strange. I know, I know something is bothering Maria. Something is bothering her...

What are she doing? Shouldn't I have followed her to class? No, no, she will be fine.

where was i going?

In the class, I have charms shared lesson with Gryffindor. God, I have to see that stupid Potter. Draco will be there too, and they will most likely annoy each other with their comments.

I entered the class, sat at the very end, took out my notebook and looked at the blackboard. The professor had not arrived yet, so there was a commotion in the class. I am mostly a part of this commotion.

But thoughts do not give me rest, so I think that Maria is not doing well. I will definitely talk to her at lunch.

"dude are you alright" Draco said suddenly I just looked and nodded I was going to ask if he knew the assignment for today's class but the professor came in and I couldn't tell him anymore. And that's where the longest lesson of my life began.

As soon as we got out of the lesson, I was also left because of Draco, so I spent the free interval looking at the wall of the classroom until lunch. It's true that the professor was talking to us, but neither I nor Draco heard it.

As soon as we entered "Great hall". I sat down at the Slytherin table, we were all there, Pansy, Theo, Blaise, Enzo, and of course Draco too. But Maria was not there. As soon as I sat down, I asked a question.

"Haven't you all see Maria?"

"Is everything okay?" Enzo asked. "I haven't seen it either, bro, but she was a little weird today," Blaise said

Draco and pansy looked at each other. "I don't know either, I hope she is okay" Pansy said.

"Maria and I have a both same lesson after lunch today, she well come don't worry Matt" Theo     said  "Theo's right" said Draco.

I continued to eat but I was still nervous. Draco and Blaise were talking about Quidditch, Pansy enzo and Theo i don't even know.

Maybe I'm worrying for nothing, but somehow I don't think everything will is fine with her. I got up from the table in 10 minutes. I decided to go to my room to see if she was there. As soon as I got up Pansy shouted me "tell me if you see her" she said I just nodded and went to my room. I went in and there was no one there. Maybe I calmed down a little?

maybe she went to the library, or the professor left her in class?. But she miss lunch, she is  probably hungry. My love...

When I left my room and started walking, I passed Maria's room. Our rooms are not that far.

I'll check there, maybe she is  there and not feeling well... What the hell am I worried about...

I went to the door. it was open . Maria's door is never open, so I suddenly opened the door, there was no one in the room. Except the letter on the bed...?

The bathroom door was open. I quickly closed the entrance door and quickly went to the bethroom. Maria was standing there...

Maria's pov

I heard the sound of doors.

I didn't even have time to breathe when Mattheo was standing right in front  me.

Thoughts were screaming in my head. When I felt strong arms pull me into a tight hug. I was laying my head on his chest, tears were pouring down my cheeks every second.

"I don't want to hurt you, Matt... I don't-" I managed to swallow in a weak voice. He is calm as if I hugged the cloud itself, he is soft, I can hear his breathing, how he gives me an example to breathe calmly like him. He interrupts me, his fingers caress my hair.

"I know princess, I know you'll never hurt, thank you for that, thank you for being patient and standing strong, and now is the time, I'll take charge of that, now it's my time to stand strong and hold you in my  arms" he whispered, and I surrendered and lost myself in his arms. And I cried and cried and cried.

 I haven't cried for so long, all the tears found their way out together.

he still held me calmly, caressing my cheek. He wipes away all the tears with his rough fingers.
