Part 8

maria's pov

And the alarm is ringing again. I got up, took a shower and put on a long sleeve black t-shirt with a jacket on top and blue beggy jeans. Top uniform wearer. I didn't really have a head of makeup and I didn't even have a hair tie up, so I took it off for the first time since I was at Hogwarts. I applied mascara and went to breakfast.

I was wearing headphones in one ear and listening to music while I was walking.

"Hey" I said and sat down next to Pansy at the table and took off my headphones.

"Someone in the mood?" Blaise asked

"Sorry about yesterday, I was just stressed" I said and looked down

"It's okay," Pansy said and hugged me a little, she almost put her hand on my arm, but I managed to pull it away.

"And what made you angry anyway" Draco asked Enzo and Theo looked at me as well.

I hesitated to answer as I raised my head to make eye contact with Mattheo. He looked at me as if he knew why I was lying. And I was not well. I suddenly broke eye contact and answered.

"Just nothing like that. And what's going on with you?"

I barely got out of potions today we had a shared class with Gryffindor and I had to work with Hermione. He has a very high opinion of himself.

Now, as I know, everyone has classes, so I went to the  astronomy Tower and sat down at the edge, put on my headphones, took out my notebook, and started writing my homework while listening to music.

In half an hour someone sat next to me. It was Mattheo. My gift with headphones in his hand. I suddenly took off my headphones and asked.

"Hey, what do you want here? you don't have classes"

"No, princess, what are you doing here?" he asked

"I also attended classes and came out here. Do you like headphones?" I asked and pointed with my eyes and smiled. He also smiled at me.

"It's very comfortable and I like it," he said, and we looked into each other's eyes in silence.

Finally Mattheo raised his voice

"Why were you angry yesterday? "Princess..." he asked

"You really don't have any  other questions?" I said and looked down

"Answer me" he said and looked into my eyes

" I had fleshbacks" I said and got up and went to the door.

He also stood up and grabbed my arm, and it was that arm that.

"What the hell let me go Mattheo" I said and he pulled me close to him still not letting go.

"What's wrong with you. Show me" he said in an angry tone

"No, Mattheo, let go of my hand," I said, but still he lifted the sleeve of my shirt and saw the wounds. I saw how his face changed, he was angry and sad at the same time, I looked down, trying not to look into his eyes. He grabbed my jaw and lifted my head so that I could look at him.

"Who did this to you, what is this Maria?" he said angrily. I looked up in horror as I felt my body begin to tremble.

"It-it's me" I barely swallowed and breathed

"Say Maria!"

"I did" I said and fell to my knees I could hardly breathe and was shaking a lot. I saw his face at my words his face just all emotion left him he caught me from falling but in the end he sat with me on his knees.

"Mar, come breathe with me.. okey?" he said and touched my heart

"I'm tired..." I said with a trembling voice and put my head on his shoulder

"I know, you just need to rest okay..." and I hugged him tighter, feeling his heart beat like mine. Soon I stopped shaking and we both sat on the floor hugging each other when after five minutes of silence Matteo didn't say anything.

"Maria, now I need you to listen to me, I'm not going to give you a lecture. I just need you to listen to me, okay?" he said, looking into my eyes

"Okay" I said and looked into his endless brown eyes

"Maria, I know, I understand that something very bad happened in your life, which reminds you and makes you behave like this... But I want to tell you that you want to talk to me. I want to ask you, maybe it's not easy to talk to me about this, but try, okay, I can't promise that you'll make all the pain go away and I'll help you to the end, but I'll try, okay? When you feel that you are on the edge of doing it, just come to me, okey?" he told me

"But Mattheo..I" I said suddenly but he cut me off

"No, Maria, you should come to me anytime, anywhere, come write to me, call me, because when you consider yourself to be hurting, I know that you can't bear my pain. After every fight, I see how you look at me with your green eyes and make sure that I'm fine. So try not to hurt yourself because it hurts me too and it's a double responsibility"

"Please Maria" he said and kept quiet. On his words, I felt something in my heart, an unknown feeling, what can I call it, love?.

"I... thank you" I said and smiled from happiness and sadness and hugged him very tightly. He pulled me out of the hug, put his hand on my cheek, looked me in the eyes and said.

"Don't scare me like that anymore princess"
