 maria's pov

Stupid bitch, what an idiot, how many more things could I say. So thank you for not telling me everything. She is such Pick me.
I was lost in my thoughts and laughed.
"It was good Maria" said Pansy and smiled at me
"Show that bitch her place" Blaise said. and we all laughed as we all agreed, Mattheo kept looking at me. It was driving me crazy.
"Okay, I have to go, I have poisons" I said and started to get up
"Wait for me" said Mattheo and stood up. Pansy was looking at me with such eyes that you thought she was spying on me and Mattheo. I smiled as Matteo caught up with me and we walked to class together.
"Does your hand still hurt?" he asked me. I looked down. I didn't make a sound. When he stopped, he put his hand on my waist and pulled me close to him. God, I can't stand it when people touch me, but he... I'm powerless with him.
"There's no need to lie to me, princess," he said, pulling my hair behind my ear and looking into my eyes.
Her chocolate-colored eyes, the infinity that I saw in his eyes confused me and weakened me even more, as I said before.
"I'm fine, I'm fine now" I said looking down holding me close to him again.
"And should I trust those words" he asked me and raised my head so that I looked into his eyes.
"Yes" I said and smiled. I saw how a small smile played on his lips.
We went to the class and sat down. Today, all the houses were mixed with a bit of Slytherin, a bit of Halfpub and Ravenclaw, and of course Gryffindor, along with Harry Potter. To tell the truth, I don't know what to recommend to this guy, but he is a bit annoying.
"Today we have to work on the project. And I'll pair you, I really don't have a fever," said the professor
"Harry Potter and Ron Weasley
Hermione Granger and Luna Lovegood
Neville Longbottom and Cho Chang
Maria Lysenko and Matthew Riddle
..."
The professor continued to count the pairs. When I heard my and Mattheo's name, I got confused, and I was happy too. i look at Mattheo, but he was already looking at me.
As it happened when the professor finished the list. said
"Now let's look at the materials, you have 3 days to complete the project, the best done will get his house 10 points" he said they all smiled and started listening to the professor.
