Emotions

Jenna and Emma talked with the family all day, but soon it got dark outside, and most of them went to sleep

Except Emma, Jenna, aliyah, and Natalie "I'm so glad that you came to visit us, it's been so long" her mom said with a smile

"I know, it's been very hard lately, a lot of things happened, and I can't say that any of them was too good"

Jenna was on the edge of crying as she remembered Kassandra and what she tried to do to her

"Why? what happened dear?" Natalie asked, looking at her daughter worried, a single tear left Jenna's eyes, which she quickly wiped away

Emma put her arms around her body and pulled her closer "can you tell them? I'm not sure I can do it" Jenna asked looking at her lover

Who planted a kiss on top of Jenna's head and nodded, both Natalie and aliyah looked at Emma, Edward came downstairs to get a drink and wanted to hear what's this about

"Well basically two weeks ago before we started dating, Jenna met a girl named Kassandra, she's an Uber driver, who was really nice at first, but uh.."

Emma took a break to take a breath and checked if Jenna was okay

"Well there's no way of saying this politely, she basically tried to rape Jenna, one of our coworkers I don't know how, but she got there just in time to stop it from happening"

Jenna was holding onto Emma tightly, they heard a glass breaking, all of them flinched at the sudden noise

It was Edward he slammed the glass to the floor, Natalie felt her eyes tearing up, aliyah was speechless

The smaller girl just silently cried as Emma comforted her "who is this girl? Where can I find her?" Edward asked with anger in his voice

"Dad stop please, it's okay" Emma pushed Jenna away, and put her hands on each side of Jenna's face

"None of this is okay, if I could I would kill her too, but I want to be with you, and that's the only thing that's stopping me from doing it, but this isn't okay baby"

Jenna looked away, she wasn't showing her emotions at all until now, she just couldn't hold it back anymore

"I guess I deserved it" Jenna said it quietly, which made all of them gasp except Emma, who stood up "come on let's talk about this"

She took Jenna's hand, who held Emma's tightly, they both walked outside to the backyard, so they have some privacy

"Jenna tell me, what do you feel" Emma said standing in front of the smaller girl, who wasn't making eye contact at all

"All this pressure I have, all the stuff that happened, with Kassandra, with the paying stuff, and me almost getting fired"

Emma was confused for a second "what paying stuff?" She asked while Jenna lit up a cigarette

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you because I wasn't supposed to, but Burton payed people so I can stay and film the fucking series, which I feel like I don't even want to anymore"

The brunette shook her head lightly and rubbed her eyes "why didn't you tell me that before? That's a serious thing Jenna, and very illegal"

"oh so now your blaming me?" Jenna asked now looking into Emma's eyes, who sighed

"no of course not, but we have to talk about these things if we want this relationship to work"

"I'm not use to talk about these things Emma! Okay? I don't know how to deal with my emotions at all! And it's slowly driving me crazy"
