Five pm came pretty fast, Jenna wore some long sleeved dress, with high heels, Emma wore a short dress, which was blue

And some high heels too "come on baby, it's time to go" Emma said at five-thirty, Jenna smiled and walked over to her

"You are one beautiful girl" Emma said and kissed Jenna on the lips, they walked out of the hotel, and called an Uber for themselves

The ride took twenty minutes, Emma saw how anxious Jenna was, she took the smaller girls hand, and held it tightly

"It's going to be okay" Jenna nodded, the rest of the ride was quiet, twenty minutes later they arrived at the restaurant

It wasn't too crowded thankfully, but there was quite a lot people, they both went to the table where Natalie was sitting, with aliyah

They sat down in front of them, Emma smiled, Jenna was anxious "hey girls, I didn't came here to fight, I want to smooth things over"

Jenna took a deep breath, Emma squeezed her hand, trying to calm her down a little "I know what I did was wrong, no mother should do that to their kids what I did, I wish I could undo what happened, I wasn't angry at you moonpie, I was angry at your father for lying, and I got the anger out on you"

The smaller girl felt tears in her eyes
"You really hurt me mom" Jenna felt like she was going to have a panic attack

Her breathing became heavy, she stood up and walked out of the restaurant, Emma wanted to go after her "I got this" aliyah said and hurried after her sister

Emma looked at Natalie "I know it's not the best question, but we have never really got to be alone together, what are your intentions with Jenna?"

The older woman asked, Emma smiled thinking about their future together

"Trust me, I got nothing for her other than love, I want to marry her, I was actually thinking about going ring shopping, but it might be too soon, we have been only together for seven months"

Natalie couldn't help but smile "well, when the time comes, you will know that that's the time you need to propose"

Emma smiled "we're actually going on a vacation next month, this month is the ninth month we are together, so next month we will be ten months together"

Natalie nodded and searched around in her bag, then pulled out a little box "this is what my grandfather proposed to my grandmother, this is what Edward proposed to me, now it's yours"

Emma opened the box, it was a beautiful diamond ring "oh wow, this is beautiful, thank you, but I think I will wait for a little more"

Natalie said, Emma wanted to give the ring back but she stopped her "no, keep it, you two will last forever, I know it"

The brunette smiled, and thanked her again, Emma put the ring in her little bag so Jenna won't know about it

The two sisters returned to the table
"I will need sometime, but I think I can forgive you mom" Jenna said, Natalie pulled her into a tight hug

They ate some dinner and talked
"So what are you two doing after the show ends?" Aliyah asked after they told them that it's two weeks and the show ends

"We were thinking about taking a week or two off, after that Emma goes to work" Natalie nodded like she didn't know about the vacation

Emma just gave a look to Natalie with a smile, who returned it, but it didn't go without noticing by Jenna

"What was that?" The smaller girl asked, looking between the two girls
"Nothing" Emma said looking at Jenna

Jenna was a bit confused, and decided to leave it for now, after they finished eating, they said goodbye after paying

"Well see you soon baby" Natalie said pulling her into a hug, and kissing her daughter on the cheek, she hugged her sister too

Then sat in the Uber that was already there, the ride back was silent, but Jenna was wondering about what was that suspicious look about

As soon as they got home, Jenna took her shoes off, Emma did the same, they decided to change into comfortable clothes

They both stood in the bedroom changing when Jenna finally asked
"What was that look about Em.?"

The brunette looked at Jenna who was already in her pajamas "what look?" Emma played dumb even though she knew what was her lover talking about

"Don't play dumb, you know what I'm talking about" Jenna said in a serious tone

"I just talked with Natalie, is that a problem?" Jenna raised an eyebrow, Emma finished changing, Jenna sighed

"What did you talk about?" Emma was quiet, not wanting to tell Jenna about the ring "fine" Jenna said and took Emmas purse wanting to get her phone

The brunette hurried over and took her purse "what the fuck?" Jenna asked looking absolutely confused

"It's nothing" Emma said with a slight blush appearing on her face, Jenna tried getting the purse away from Emma

They fought like toddlers, until they both fell, the purse was on the floor, and what was in it, all spilled, Emma quickly grabbed the little box

Standing up hiding it behind her back
"What are you hiding?!" Jenna asked raising her voice at Emma as she stood up

"Nothing!" Jenna gave her an 'are you serious' look, raising an eyebrow then pushing Emma on the bed

The brunette still had her hands behind her back, Jenna kissed Emma, knowing she can't resist the kids, the taller girl reached out for Jenna blindly with both hands

The smaller girl grabbed Emma's hands, and saw what she was hiding
She took the box from Emma gently, opening it

Seeing a ring inside, Emma pushed Jenna off of her, and stood up, she felt sad and angry about this whole situation

"Emma, I'm sorry" the small actress said, giving Emma an apologetic look
"It's fine, I guess the surprise is over"
The taller girl said in an annoyed tone

"Did you wanted to propose to me?" Jenna asked looking at Emma, the moonlight was hitting her body, since they didn't have any lights on

"Yes! I wanted to, and I will, but now it won't be the same!" Emma said with tears forming in her eyes, Jenna felt like shit about this

She handed the ring back to Emma, who put it on the night stand, since there's no reason to hide it anymore

"I will give it back to your mom when we go there, and ask for it later since the surprise is off" Emma said and laid down on the bed

She formed a plan in her head already, a new one, fake giving back the ring before they go, propose on the vacation.

"Emma please, I'm sorry" the brunette sighed and faced away from Jenna, the smaller girl laid down too

Not knowing what to do, she was looking at Emmas back, Jenna gently caressed her back, seeing Emma lean into it

Even though she was mad at her, Emma turned around, and took Jenna's hand "I fucking hate you right now, but I still love you"

Emma said, and pulled Jenna closer who was completely speechless
"And I want to be the little spoon, tonight"

It was a rare occasion that Emma wanted to be the little spoon, but Jenna nodded and kissed Emma on the cheek

Emma turned around, Jenna got closer and hugged from behind, which the brunette enjoyed very much...

They soon fell asleep...

Emma had a plan in her head...

Natalie is right, this will be the right time...

It feels like the perfect opportunity...

Emma will propose to Jenna, who will have no idea....
