I woke up in the morning to Joe kissing up and down my arm and shoulder. I opened my eyes smiling. "What are you doing?" I asked.
"Happy birthday baby." he said.
"Thank you." I said.
"How about we go out for breakfast? Your choice."
"My choice?" I paused as he nodded. "I think we should have breakfast at IHop."
"Again?" he asked.
"I love that place."
"I know you do. Okay. IHop it is." he said.
"You're the sweetest." I said. I kissed him and then got up and walked to the bathroom. I started the shower and then I felt arms around my waist. I turned around and Joe was looking down at me with the sexy grin I always loved to see. "Can I help you with something?"
"Can I shower with you?"
"Shower?"
"And maybe some other things. It is your birthday and I do wanna give you a proper morning." he said.
"Well, if you insist." I said.

After our morning in the shower, we got dressed and went down the street to IHop. We ate and had nice conversation. "What's your best birthday memory?" he asked.
"That's a tough one. But um, I think I would have to say that my best birthday was when I was six. Uncle John came down and he took me out horse back riding and we spent the whole day together. My mom had to work and my dad was barely in my life. Uncle John didn't want me to spend my birthday alone so he picked me up. It was a complete surprise but it was the best surprise. I loved it. We got ice cream and he even got me a cake and we had our own little birthday party." I said.
"That sounds sweet. He really is important to you, huh?"
"Not as important as you now but before you he was all I had. He was the only man I looked up to."
"I'm glad you had someone like him in your life." he said.
"Yeah." I said.
We finished eating and then went back to the hotel. "Babe, I'll be back. I have to go see Hunter and Stephanie. Evidently they have to tell me something." Joe said.
"Okay. I'll be here." I said.
He kissed me and then walked out of the hotel room.
About ten minutes after he had left and I was just getting comfortable on the couch, there was a knock on the door. I got up and answered it. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Jon, Seth, John Cena, Jimmy, Jey, Daniel Bryan, Nikki, Brie, Paige, Natalya, Eva Marie, Trinity and Ariane all said together.
I smiled at them as I let them in. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked.
Jon hugged me. "You didn't think we would really forget your birthday did you?"
"Yeah. You're, what, thirty now?" Seth asked.
I raised my eyebrows at him. "You're dead Rollins. Dead!" I chased him around the hotel room while everybody laughed at us. He stopped by Jon and I jumped on Seth's back putting him in a sleeper hold. "You're gonna go to sleep Rollins unless you take it back."
"Never!"
I started wiggling and he was laughing.
"Okay. Okay. I take it back." he said.
I jumped down from him and stood by Jon crossing my arms. "Shouldn't mess with her dude." Jon said putting his arm around my shoulders.
"Yeah. Thanks for the tip." Seth said.
"Where's Joe?" Jimmy asked.
"He said he had to go see Steph and Hunter for a second." I said.
"Oh."
The door opened and Joe walked in with a bouquet of roses and an envelope. I looked at him in awe. "What's all this?" I asked.
"Just a little something for my wife on her birthday." he said handing me the items.
I sniffed the roses and took in the amazing smell. I opened the card and read it out loud. "Katie, there's no way I can tell you how much I love you or how special you are to me so let me show you. Let me take you out for a birthday dinner tonight at seven. Love Joe." I paused and looked at Joe. "Of course." I said.
"This calls for shopping." Nikki said.
"Why?" I asked.
"You need a hot dress. Duh." she said.
We all laughed and then I agreed.

I was walking through the mall with the girls looking for a great dress. "How about this one?" Nikki asked holding up a red one that had a cross back and showed a lot of cleavage. It was short.
"I don't wanna look like a hooker Nicole." I said.
"It's just Joe. He's your husband." she said.
"Let me try it on." I said. I went into the dressing room, put it on and walked back out. All of the girls cheered. "I'm guessing I look hot?"
"Girl you look better than hot. If you don't get that dress, I certainly will." Trinity said.
"Okay. I'll get it." I said.
We paid and then went back to the hotel. The girls helped me get ready.

Seven came around and Joe had already gone to the location. There was a knock on the door and I answered it. Jon was standing there. "I'm here to escort you." he said.
I smiled and then left the hotel with him.
When we got to the location, the beach, we got out and walked down to the sand. Joe was standing by a table with candles, wine glasses, roses, and it was just beautiful. I smiled so wide, I swear my face would have been stuck like that.
I walked up to Joe. "You look really beautiful." he said.
"Thanks. You look really hot." I said.
We kissed and then sat down. After we ate, Joe picked up a wrapped gift and handed it to me.
"What's this?" I asked.
"Open it." he said.
I tore off the wrapping paper and opened the small black box. It was a locket. I looked at it in awe. "Joe. It's beautiful." I said.
"Open the locket." he said.
I did just that and almost teared up. Inside was two pictures. On one side was a picture of me and uncle John when I was little and on the other side was a picture of me, Joe and the kids. "It's perfect." I said. "So are you."
"I'm glad you like it."
"I love it. I love you."
"I love you too."
"Remember earlier, when you asked me what the best birthday memory I had was?" He nodded. "I was wrong. This moment is the best birthday memory every. All because of you."
