{Kaneki x Reader} I'm Dangerous

Meeeeh! I decided to start off with a kawaii, innocent Kaneki story. It's cheesy and fluffy with a tiiiiiiny bit of angst at the end... You've been warned T_T.

Update 10/26/16: I'm so thankful for the 100k+ reads!!! Omg I never knew I'd get this far considering English isn't even my first language! I didn't know people would like my one-shots so much and seeing all these reads made me the happiest person ever! Thank you so much, I'll continue writing for the sake of actually being a good person so people can read! This story had a whole different plot before I came back and I deleted the whole thing so I can hopefully write it better this time. Thank you again and I hope you enjoy this!~

     Y/n was an ordinary girl that lived in the city of Tokyo. She was always careless, never even caring about the "ghouls" and whatever other creatures lurked around the city. The sky was covered in grey clouds and she slowly looked up, her small hands tightening the scarf around her neck. She proceeded her way to her destination and entered the small cafe with the name of "Anteiku". She sat down at a table near the big glass window and removed her purple scarf. Y/n fingers were tapping gently on the table, following a random rhythm as she waited for someone to take her order.

     After what felt like 5 minutes, a young and cute boy walked towards the table. "H-Hello! Welcome to Anteiku, is there anything I can do for you?" Y/n looked up at the boy with the white eyepatch covering his left eye, as his eye that wasn't covered glowed a silver glint. His smile was the cutest smile Y/n had seen in forever. "Sorry for the wait," he shyly started to speak and refused to make eye contact, "we had a few costumers today, we're not usually this crowded!" He awkwardly made a short conversation as he looked back into her eyes.

     "Uh, yeah it's ok. Um, I'd like some hot chocolate if that's possible," she fixed her h/c hair behind her ear and spoke again, "I'm Y/n!" She had no idea why she was suddenly introducing herself but she felt the urge to let the adorable male know. He gave her a confusing stare but giggled otherwise.

"Kaneki." He smiled as he picked up the menu that was sitting on her table. She smiled back at the boy now known as Kaneki and waited for her order, her cheeks flaming bright red. Oh my god why do I feel so awkward? She thought to herself and she started to play with her hands. Tracing the edge of the table with her delicate finger. Some quiet classical music was playing in the background as the chatters of the still few people in Anteiku filled the room. Y/n let out a quiet sigh and looked at the window; it had already started to snow. The white snow flakes collided with the ground and cars were driving by, making the Tokyo scenery look peaceful and normal for once.

     "I'm back!" Y/n snapped out of her thoughts as she looked up to see Kaneki smiling brightly with a tray in his hand, the only thing on it being the hot chocolate she had ordered. He set down the cup carefully and fixed his apron. "I hope you enjoy your time here." He quickly bowed down as she thanked him. Her small voice speaking quietly and shyly. She was about to continue staring at the window till she left a gaze on her. Kaneki still hadn't left the spot he was standing. Y/n gave him a questioning look as he sat on the seat across from her. "Never order the black coffee here," he smiled, "it's soooo bitter! It almost feels as if you're shoving a pack of plain coffee in your mouth!" He giggled.

"O-oh um... Haha okay! I won't order it!" She smiled cutely at Kaneki and slowly blew on the hot cocoa, attempting to cool it down. Kaneki slowly placed his hand on the cup, on top of Y/n's. Her cheeks already getting red; hopefully he won't notice.

"Er... sorry um... I just wanted to tell you that," he took the cup out of her hand and blew on it, "it's better if you blow on this angle! It cools down faster." He smiled, his cheeks a pink hue as he slid the cup in front of her again. "I'm gonna go take some other orders, it seems as if I'm slacking!" He paused and smiled even wider, "I'll see you again!" Kaneki stood up and walked towards a girl with dark purple hair and a mean look on her face. A few apologies could be heard from the boy as Y/n was staring at her reflection on the cup.
