{Dagger x Reader} Differences And Similarities

     This one shot was requested by Jade-The-Otaku! Dagger deserves more love!~ Anyway thank you for requesting this, and don't kill me if it's not the way you wanted it k? 

     Some people have their differences and similarities. In this situation you and Dagger. He was obsessed with Ms. Beast and all she did was ignore him. You couldn't help but feel jealous of her. You wish Dagger saw you that way. He inspired you in so many ways. The way he was always cheerful and taking everything positive was just too much for you. You thought he was just plain adorable! 

"Oi Dagger!" you were all currently eating breakfast as you hear Beast call Dagger's name. You shot a glare at her while Dagger cheerfully got up from his seat. He made his way to the entrance of the tent where Beast was standing. 

"How can I help you Ms. Beast?" Dagger had a close-eyed smile on his face, as his voice sounded like an angel's whisper.

"I need you to take care of Betty (Beast's tiger if you didn't know.) for a little while. I have to run some errands somewhere and I don't think I can trust anyone else. Will you do that for me?" Dagger didn't hesitate to answer. He quickly nodded his head while Beast just simply thanked him with an emotionless face expression. You growled a little bit getting bothered by the way Beast acts towards him.

"Y/n are you alright?" you look up to see Doll talking to you. "You're growling like a dog." she giggled a little bit.

"Yes, I'm feeling fine. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go practice." you got up and walked out of the tent. You didn't have to practice. You just needed time to think.

      A small amount of time passed and you were sitting behind a fence thinking. 'What does Beast have that I don't?' you asked yourself. You let out a deep sigh and felt a water drop on your nose. 'Great' you thought to yourself.

     Soon rain started to pour and you just sat there not moving a muscle. The rain bothered you just a little bit, but right now, not so much. You really needed some time to think.

"Y/n? Y/N! What are you doing out in the rain? You'll catch a cold!" you turn your head to see the person yelling your name. It was Dagger. He ran towards you and stood right beside you. 'Looks like he's done taking care of Betty' you thought.

"I don't care." you said plainly. You didn't want to act like this towards Dagger, but you were just a little mad.

"What do you mean you "don't care?" Come on Y/n!" you looked up to meet his teal-green eyes. They were filled with worry.

"Just leave me alone Dagger..." you hugged your knees and buried your face in them. Your heard Dagger sigh and felt him sit next to you. You look to your right and see Dagger staring at you.

"What are you doing?" you curiously asked him. He made a another close-eyed smile which caused you to blush a little and said, "If you stay here. I'm staying with you." You made a confused face and quickly hugged your knees tighter.

"Why are you doing this?" you said as you laid your head on your knees facing him.

"Because..." he started off. "You're my best friend Y/n..." you sighed and buried your face on your knees again. 'Wow. That makes me feel better.' you thought. Best friend? Seriously? Now you just felt friend zoned. "What?" he asked you.

"Dagger. I need to get this off my chest." you got up and stared at him. "How blind can you be? Why do you think I always watch you during practice? Because I want to? NO! It's because I want to spend more time with you. Every time you try to get Beast's attention and she rejects you... it gets me really mad! You don't deserve being treated that way... I'm not saying I would make you happier... but I want you to know that I would try to. I want you to at least know how I feel! Consider my thoughts. Know that every time you smile it makes my heart skip a beat. Every time you try cheering up someone it always cheers me up." you paused and closed your eyes.

"Dagger... I-I love you!" you finally stated the truth. Getting all that out of your heart made you feel better. Dagger stared at you with wide eyes. You were blushing furiously. Rain pouring and breaking the silence. That's when you couldn't take it anymore.

"You know what Dagger? Just... ignore everything I said." you walked away from him. You glanced at him one more time. He was still wide-eyed and had a small shade of pink covering his cheeks. You just ran back to your tent. Small tears spilled from your eyes. You were kind of expecting that type of reaction from him. You couldn't help but feel a little heartbroken.

"Y/n... can I come in?" your heard none other then Dagger's voice outside your tent. You ignored his question as you lied down on your bed not facing the entrance. "Y/n... can I please come in?" his voice sounded sad and not like his usual cheery one. You sighed in defeat and spoke up to let him in.

"What do you want?" you quietly mumbled. You felt him sit next to you on your bed. He placed his hand on yours. Your face took a deep shade of pink.

"I'm going to consider what you said... under one condition." you sat up raising one of your eyebrows. 

"If you let me..." he stopped talking and blushed a really cute shade of red. "K-kiss you..." your whole face was now red. You didn't even answer his question, but you felt his lips on yours. His lips were soft and sweet. You kissed him back, but slowly pulled away as you both needed some air. Both your faces a cherry looking shade of red. 

"Thank you Y/n... Your feelings are definitely something." He stood up and made his way to exit your tent. He turned around and said, "Sit next to me at dinner okay?" he winked and walked out, making your face even redder then it was. 

"Y/n... I need all the juicy details now!" Doll stormed in your tent. You quickly look away processing everything that had happened. You smiled and thought about your moment. It certainly made you the happiest person on earth.
