Hyunjin glanced at Felix who was going through the pictures they had taken a while ago. The younger hadn't said anything except a quick hello and giving him instructions since he came in today. Hyunjin was confused and maybe a little hurt by the other's negligence.
"What's going on in that pretty head of yours?" he heard a voice behind him and turned to see a smiling Chan.
"Hey, Chan hyung. Uh... it's nothing," Hyunjin smiled at him. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm having dinner with Felix tonight and I didn't have anything to do since Jisung and Changbin are busy with their stuff," Chan shrugged.
"Mm, I keep forgetting that the three of you work together," Hyunjin giggled as Nami walked over to them to touch up Hyunjin's makeup.
"I knew Jisung was Minho's boyfriend but I didn't know the two of you were friends," Chan laughed with him and squeezed his shoulder gently before beelining to Felix's side.
Hyunjin felt a pang of jealousy and hurt when he saw a small smile on Felix's face. All morning, Felix had spoken to him in a monotonous tone or a poker face, not even bothering to meet his eyes.
Maybe he didn't like it. Maybe he didn't like that we kissed. But why's he ignoring me? He was the one who asked me to kiss him?! Well, fuck it.
"Hey, Felix," Hyunjin called out and the two's attention focused on him. "Can we uh, finish this shoot real quick? I have somewhere to be."
Felix didn't meet his eyes, just nodded and took his camera, going to position while Hyunjin did the same. He glances at Chan who smiles and gives him a thumbs up, returning the smile.
Hyunjin put on his modelling face and Felix started taking pictures, occasionally telling him to do a specific pose. In about minutes, they were done and Chan walked up to Hyunjin, high-fiving him.
"That was amazing. You're a natural," Hyunjin smiled at the older, thanking him and then glanced at Felix. Once again, he was met with eyes that refused to meet his. Hyunjin was confused.
He had sent a couple of texts and he was left on delivered.
Chan noticed the tension in the air and he frowned a little but chose not to say anything until he was alone with his best friend.
"I'm leaving. See you tomorrow, Felix. See you soon, hyung," Hyunjin said before going to the changing room.
Felix just hummed and went back to looking through the camera while Chan glanced at his friend.
"Did something happen between you and Hyunjin?" Chan asked. Felix looked at him and shook his head, "Nothing, hyung," he sighed a little.
"Then what is this angst I'm smelling in the air?" Felix opened his mouth to answer but stopped when he saw Hyunjin come out of the changing room. "Later," he mouthed to Chan before walking into his office.
Hyunjin walked out of the studio with Chan who had followed him out.
"Hyung..." Hyunjin turned to look at Chan. "Can you uh... Can you ask Felix to call me... tonight?"
"Did something happen between you two?" Chan asked and Hyunjin sighed. "I think he'd appreciate it if you heard it from him and not me," Chan nodded in understanding. "Okay, see you around."
Hyunjin waved to Chan a little before walking away. Felix was packing and getting his bag and car keys when Chan came back inside.
Felix saw Chan's expression and raised a hand to stop him. "Don't. Not yet. Let's get a drink first and then I'll talk," he said and Chan sighed agreeing to his friend's wish. Felix drove them to the nearest bar, ordering drinks and something to eat. They got a table for themselves and sat down. Chan watched as Felix took his drink and immediately gulped it all down in one go.
