"Never lose me"

-"Uvo's.. gone? What does that even mean?"-

-"Exactly that, Nobunaga."-

It wasn't something the Troupe could just recover from, and we all knew it. The entire squadron I created felt Uvo's loss greatly, that isn't to undermine everyone else, it's simply that they spent the most time with him, it's only natural that they felt strongly about the loss of a main member.

-"He wouldn't lose to that wimp."- Nobunaga inmediatly refused the idea.

-"It feels surreal, but it makes sense, he'd never go so long without warning."- Telling him how we found out seemed rather cruel and, mostly unneccesary.

Chrollo was absent during this time, since he preferred to start instigating whatever was needed to keep this plan going, after all, he had the ability he needed. However, after all the near infighting, and Nobunaga accepting the reality of this situation, the Boss came back as radiant as possible.

-"Would you lend me your full name, Aridam?"- The head of the spider asked, he had already made rounds around the troupe to find out everyone else's fortune, and it was my turn now.

-"I know my own future. You forget of my own ability."- Chrollo's eyes focused in on me, asking me to not start a fight, meanwhile, Hisoka accidently laughed at the situation, hiding it with a smirk after we all turned to see him.

-"You find somethin' funny, eh?"- Nobunaga was still deeply hurt by the things that happened, and was incredibly sensible to everything.

-"Quite."-

Pakunoda was making her way towards the magician, when she saw that her Boss's anger was about to boil over the pot.

-"Why don't you share your prophecy with us?"- The blond lady spoke, however Hisoka wasn't paying attention to her, his entire focus was on me.

-"I don't think that's the best idea."- He leaned down while Feitan walked angrily towards him.

-"Don't care. Let's see."- And so, Hisoka gave the fortune paper to them.

Chrollo was still intent on making me submit to his order, but I simply ignored his selfish demands, that would make the rest doubt my own powers.

After Hisoka shared his fortune, we all started to share our own, connecting the pieces and little by little, realizing what had to be done. We all knew we had to avenge our friend somehow, and so, the easiest way was clearly by finding the, supposedly, mysterious and unkown Chain user.

-"We should find those kids again."- The troupe turned to see me while I spoke. -"I'm sure they have an affiliation, now more than ever."-

-"You heard her. Go!"- And with that, the troupe went to see where they could find the 12 year-olds that their leader commanded, all except two.

-"Hisoka, I'd appreciate if you go, as well."-

-"I must refuse."- He only smirked and got his cards out while staring at me.

-"Hisoka. You may take her orders as a request, however mine are final, and I said, go."- Kuro stopped in his tracks to clarify what his worker was supposed to do.

Hisoka didn't like this though, you could tell by the disapproving look in his eyes, in which a spark of mischief was as noticible as his irresistable face.

-"Oh? Really, May I take your words as a request, Aridam?"- The magician swayed to me while Kuro went to take his place next to me once again.

-"Requests tend to be followed by a "please", don't mistake my words for requests unless they fill that prerequisite."-

-"That settles that, no?"- Hisoka's smile was as wide as ever, while his hands snaked towards my waist, but Chrollo wasn't standing far away and choose to grab my wrist and pull me away from him.

-"Let me go! I think you don't understand the situation we're in. On top of that! You're being disrespectful to Uvogin, and everyone trying to avenge him. Disgusting."- With that, I twisted Chrollo's wrist and pushed his legs back, making him release me.

Standing between the two men made me realize the different stances they both had, while the magician had a playfullness about him, he was exuding bloodlust even more than what seemed to be a pissed off Chrollo. Nobody that wasn't close to the two wouldn't figure out that this was about more than just me, it was about their power.

-"Stand down."- I said to the air, hoping that either of them would hear my plea and would do as I said, thankfully, they both did as requested.

-"Who do you think you are? I, am the leader of the Spiders. You, are my subordinate. Do as you are told, Aridam."- Even Hisoka was shocked at the cold shoulder given to me by my best friend. But I didn't have time to refute him.

I shaked my head, I wanted to tell him off, but I would only be wasting time because I know how he would want that to end. I ended up looking at the window, and my body did as it wished, leaping towards the opening in the wall.

-"And just like that, she left, in silence too. How will you ever recover? Hm, Lucilfer?"-

I eavesdropped while I checked the time on my phone, I didn't want to hear whatever it is that Chrollo answered to Hisoka's temptations, so I ran. Why should we be shocked that running was my first choice? As my fight or flight reaction could ever change over night.

I love how you act. I miss the way you promise you'd stay by me. What? No. I'm thinking nonsense. Not even while I was with him had I ever thought that about Illumi. I stopped running in the middle of the street, Had I been betrayed? Who had it been that revealed my location? Or was it that I never got rid of his needle.

As I was thinking, I saw from the corner of my eye, a shadowy figure jumping from building to roof, and so on and so forth. Right before I could start chasing it, I received a text from Franklin.

@Franklin__

// The two boys want to follow us, we asked the Boss to make us look like bait.

Oh? So, Chrollo wants to help his crew? This means that I'm also requested wherever it is he is.

@_!Aridam

// Where are you guys?

@Franklin__

// Right outside the ruins.

Without giving it a second though, I bolted towards the direction of the ruins right on the outskirts of the York New City.

Gon and Killua, they are thee iconic duo, as well as the most problematic of the young boys I've met, so that meant they simply had to be following them on one of the most important nights for the Troupe, all I could think of was having a drink. I didn't give in though, and ran straight ahead instead of stopping at the pub.

Funny enough, they'd already been caught when I arrived at the outskirts, which meant I had to run back to the hotel, even if I knew that was my task, I just didn't feel like running all that much, so I texted a greatly supportive friend to come pick me up.

As Hisoka kindly took me on his back towards the hotel, I couldn't deny that the moon was simply leaking the most beautiful energy, as if Uvogin knew what was about to happen from above in the clouds. Truly wonderful.
