✦⋆✦ Leonhart, age 13 ✦⋆✦
Today was actually one of the best since I got here. I know it's only been a few days, but still. It always felt like the air was so suffocating in the house, and that I didn't belong 100% around my siblings and family. Just this one night out with my sisters and I feel a little less stressed.
On another note, Phoebe kept acting overprotective with me at the crowd of people who were here wanting to race for money. I watched Naomi trash-talk another racer which had me truly laughing.
"I did it!" Zaria ran over with a wad of cash for winning. Naomi had won as well, so they had 400 bucks combined.
"Want to go out to eat with the win money? I'm sure we missed dinner." Zaria laughed.
"Yeah!" Valencia spoke up first.
"Sounds good, I'm starved," Phoebe spoke getting up. I followed her and the others to the parking section. As we got to the jeep that belonged to Darina, Phoebe turned the headlights on and when two faces were lit up in the dark, I screamed, which caused all of my sisters and Darina to scream.
"LEO!" Phoebe snapped, since I scared her.
"It's not my fault!" I hissed. I mean, it wasn't! Why were Lennox and Alfonzo just appearing out of freaking nowhere?
"I want my De Luca troublemakers in my SUV, NOW!" Lennox barked. All of the girls jumped out of the jeep. Guess Darina gets to take her jeep back home...
"LEO! Move faster!" Lennox ordered when I got out last. I moved faster on command. When I saw Phoebe take off faster than she would of if it was Genevieve, I didn't want to find out why.
✰✰ Lennox's POV ✰✰
I drove back to the house in silence. The girls were dead silent, and Phoebe covered Leonhart's mouth when he tried to talk. I honestly was glad to see them bonding, but that didn't excuse the fact the four girls skipped their last class, and then Leonhart was taken to a street racing gig. Genevieve is going to kill them all at this rate.
"When we get home, everyone is to sneak to your rooms. Eve is asleep again and has no idea you guys never came home after school."
They all looked at me like I had 3 heads. They all smiled but Leo.
"Why? What's really happening?" Phoebe questioned.
"I could just wake Gene-"
"No-no! We'll take the first choice!" Zaria spoke fast, covering Phoebe's mouth, which got her slapped.
"Guys, what you all did was wrong. You know it. So, silent punishment time." I smirked.
"Nooo!" Valencia groaned.
"What does that mean?" Leo asked, sounding scared. I chuckled.
"It means Lennox's plans to give us a punishment, but one that benefits him for keeping us out of the rath of-"
"Wath it, Phoebe. That's my wife." I warned.
"Do you think this is wise?" Alfonzo asked me, giving me that look of 'You're dead if your wife finds out' kind of look. I chuckled and spoke to the girls and Leo.
"Tomorrow, you all will come home after school and babysit the children while us adults go out for the night."
It was dead silent.
"That's all?" Leonhart asked, which got all his sisters to shhh him and Phoebe flicked his forehead. "Oww!" He yelped.
"No," I spoke, and the girls groaned. "You will also hand over the money you made tonight."
