I heard deep accents as I began to blink my eyes a little. I flinched when I felt my head throb.
"You okay?" Gavin whispered somewhere close. I opened my eyes and rolled my head a little. I saw little Rosy sleeping in Gavin's lap. He had a beat-up face. Guess he didn't go down as quickly as my sorry ass did.
"Yeah, you? And Rosy?" I whispered. Gavin nodded and ran his hand over Rosy's hair. "Where are we?" I asked, looking around. "Since when do things like dungeons be real?" I scoffed, getting to my feet, but held my head. I gasped when the blood was dried all in my hair.
"I checked it, it's not as bad. Head wounds just bleed worse." Gavin spoke. "And this is some weird underground base. I was awake the entire time." He added.
"Underground!?" I spoke with wide eyes.
"Looks like the one boss wants is awake." A man appeared at the bars and I stepped away, going back to sit beside Gavin quickly.
"Bring him." Another voice spoke. The bars opened and I tensed up. All that training with Gavin was gone.
"Leave him alone." Gavin put Rosy beside me and blocked us, but the man who stood like hulk man in training, swung his fist one time, and Gavin flung like a slingshot, hitting the wall hard. I put Rosy behind me and stood up, my legs turned to jello, and Rosy was crying loudly behind me. Dammit! This is my fault!
"Come." The Hulk man ordered, grabbing my shirt. I yanked at it but he spun me quickly and slammed me to the floor. I cried out as the impact on my head caused the room to spin. "Come calmy, or your little friends will take the punishments." My eyes went wide as Rosy cried out and Gavin grunted. Rosy was being held by her hair and Gaivn had a foot slammed down on his face.
"Okay!" I trembled. "I'll go. Just leave th-AKK!" He grabbed my neck and yanked me up. I saw the men leave Rosy and Gavin and follow behind. Gavin rushed over to Rosy and I got one last glance at them before I was shoved into a chair that was right across from the cell I was in. I faced away from it and the lights out here were brighter. I Was being restrained in the chair and my heart was pounding. "What is this about!" I spat, as tears built up.
"You'll see sooner or later." The man chuckled lightly and walked away. Soon, no one was here. I heard Rosy crying, and I turned my head, but couldn't turn my body. Gavin went to the bars and looked at me as blood ran down his nose.
"Leo." He spoke low, but in a warning tone. "This isn't-"
"I know." I stopped him. I forced a smile. "Please, keep Rosy's ears covered and her eyes away." Gavin hit the bars and kicked at them.
"Dammit!" He hissed and slammed his fist at the part where the key lock was. The sound of talking could be heard. I quickly spoke.
"Promise! Cover her ears and keep her eyes away!" I pleaded, as Rosy kept crying and hovered in the back of the cell. What five-year-old should ever see such a thing, or experience this? I pray my family can make it in time for Gavin and Rosy. They don't derse ve this. I don't even know what I did. The Bryson's death is all I could think of. But I didn't kill them.
"Hang in there! I sent a single out before they took our phones." Gavin ran over to Rosy as a door slammed open. I faced forward and saw a man I didn't think I'd ever see on this side of the team.
