♕°°♕ Genevieve POV ♕°°♕
Time was flying what seemed so fast, yet so slow. I was already 7 months pregnant and only Lennox and I know it's twins again. I rubbed my temples as I leaned against my desk chair. Twins.... I picked up my phone and called my babysitter.
"Yeah?" A small voice came over the phone.
"Hey, sweetie. How is it going at Grandpa's?" I asked softly. Zaria moved in with Grandpa De Luca. So did Valencia, since I asked her to keep a close eye on her. Zaria lost her half, and unless someone was a twin and was truly close to that sibling, the pain Zaria was having, I can only imagine since my pain for losing a Naomi just wouldn't match what Zaria felt.
"It's fine." She mumbled. I nodded as if she could see me. Silence filled the phone. I gritted my teeth as my hormones took over. Summer break is tomorrow, so maybe I should take the family out?
"Hey, so I'd like to take everyone on a cruise this weekend. Would you tell Grandpa and-"
"I don't want to go." She interrupted. Normally that pissed me off, but I sighed and tapped my finger.
"It's not a choice baby girl. I need everyone to go. Naomi wouldn't want us all-" The sound of the phone clicked and I looked to see she hung up on me. "No, she didn't!" I called back, but her number went to voicemail. I slammed my phone down but then remembered I needed to talk to Gavin and Leonhart. It had been a good bit since they'd gotten into any trouble, and honestly, I should be glad, but I felt like both of them were hiding things. Gavin lost his dad months ago now, and well, he's taken it what seems to be like a champ, but....I can't help but feel like he's grown depressed. Gavin may not know it, but he's part of this family. No one is to hurt a hair on his head, just as much as Leonharts. Leonhart, well he's hiding something much deeper.
"Hello?" Leonhart answered his phone as soon as I called.
"Hey, you and Gavin come to my office. I-"
"K." The phone clicked and I looked at it and stood up, slamming my phone down.
"Eve?" Lennox asked from his desk. "Calm dow-"
"That's the last time someone hands up on me." I stormed out of the office.

I glared at Pheobe as I climbed into the bus Lennox came back with. She kicked me for no damn reason when I passed her seat. We had some weird family cruise to go on. I looked at everyone as they loaded. Lilly and Rose sat up front where the seats had buckles. Everlee was placed in a car seat. It took Alfonzo a good 30 minutes to find a way to safely latch it to a bus seat. I swear I saw him just tie something till Harlow scolded him. Naoko sat in a booster seat beside Everlee.
"Alright. Name call!" Genevieve called.
"Can't you see all of us?" I asked which I would take back if I could. She glared at me. She was still pissed that I hung up on her 3 days ago...in my defense, I thought she was done talking.
"Humor her," Lennox spoke, planting a kiss on his wife's cheek and taking the seat at the wheel. Genevieve smiled at Lennox and she held a clipboard. Why did this feel like some school field trip?
"Lennox, Lilly, Rosy." She began. "Harlow, Alfonza, Everlee. Check." She marked as she looked around. "Devika, Antonio, Everlee." She smiled at Everlee who cheered at her name. "Phoebe. Valencia. Na-" Her face paled and all eyes looked towards Zaria. Zaria was leaning against the window with her hoodie pulled over her head. Genevieve sighed softly and went on. "Zaria, Leonhart. Ga- Where is Gavin?" She spoke. I figured Gavin would have been here by now. "Leonhart?"
