I never had to the "meet the family" part with any of my girlfriends and I'm sure their families would've been lovely.

Jennie's family is just plain intimidating.

I'm pretty tall myself at 5'9", especially for a woman but Jennie's mom seems to intimidate me from her position in her wheelchair.

She kinda looks like Jennie with her almond shaped eyes and dark hair with lots of strands of white. She has glasses perched on the bridge of her nose.

I kneel down in front of her, maintaining the strong eye contact with confidence. I hold my hand out. "It's nice to meet you Mrs.Killian."

Her hating look doesn't end and I go back to standing next to Jennie.

Then two men come up to me and shake my hand.

One of them has a charming smile pasted on his face with a square jaw and forehead along with styled hair. He shakes my hand. "It's so nice to finally meet you! Jennie always talks about you!"

Oh. So he speaks bullshit. Good to know.

"What has she said?" I ask and glance at Jennie once.

"Just how amazing you treat her and how beautiful you are."

Wow. He's good.

"What's your name?"

He pulls his hand away. "Thomas Quentin Killian, at your service."

Jennie squeezes my hand. There's something with this guy then.

Then the other uncle comes forward. He's just as tall as his brother but while Thomas had been bright and charismatic, this guy is brooding and dark.

He holds his hand out. "James Harrison Killian." His voice is deep and booming. Unlike his brother, who dressed in blue, he dressed in all black to match his raven hair. He has this dark, rugged handsomeness to his face.

I nod and pull my hand away.

"Take your....significant other....up to your room. I'm sure she wants to unpack and get acquainted with the estate," Jennie's grandma says as she walks in.

I turn to her and hold my hand out. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Jisoo."

Jennie tugs on my hand but I'm not giving up.

The grandma shakes my hand. "My name is Eunbin Kim. Call me by that only."

I grin and shake her hand once before pulling away. "A pleasure, Eunbin Kim!"

She scowls and I go back to Jennie's side before she pulls me up the giant staircase.

I smile at her. "Your family is lovely."

She gives me a look. "Don't lie. And you haven't even met my older sister and brother."

I nod. "What's up with your uncle Thomas?"

"You don't need to worry about—"

"Jennie look," I say but she doesn't answer and continues to pull me up the stairs.

Jihye would've listened.

It's wrong to compare her to Jihye. I mean, I compare everyone one I've been with to Jihye and it's a bad habit but it just happens more often with Jennie because she has the same fucking face!

"Jennie," I say again and we reach the top of the stairs.

She still ignores me and says, "We're staying in the same room since we're dating. Take that elevator and it should take you straight to my room."
