I get shaken awake and I groan and open my eyes to see Jennie.

"I made you coffee," she says and then asks, "You're a coffee person right?"

I nod weakly. "Black?" I ask with a husky voice from just waking up.

"Y-Yeah," she says and I slowly sit up. I press my back to the bed and reach for the coffee as she throws away the sugar packet and half&half she brought with her.

I smile as I take a sip and feel the nice warmth go through me. "Thank you. How did you know I'm a coffee person?"

"Because I'm a coffee person," Jennie replies simply. "I made a coffee for myself so I thought I would make you some. I didn't give much thought to whether you liked it or not."

Jihye didn't like coffee. It wasn't a big deal that she didn't but I'm finding that I have lots of small things in common with Jennie than Jihye.

She sits down in a chair and drinks from a mug that says, "I'm That Bitch".

It makes me laugh and she raised an eyebrow. "What's so amusing first thing in the morning?"

I shake my head and point to her mug. She looks at it and gives me a mischievous grin. "Oh! Yeah! My dad made all three of us get normal jobs when we were in high school. I got a job as a barista at a nearby coffee shop. This is the first thing I bought with my first paycheck and my dad laughed as soon as I showed him this." Her smile turns bittersweet.

I sigh. "We'll figure out what's happening soon enough." I point to my own scrapes from the hill we dove into 2 days ago. "How are your cuts from the hill rolling?"

She raises her arms. "They're very faint....you took the brunt of everything. I'm surprised at how little you got hurt."

I shrug. "It's part of my job description. I have to know how to fall."

"And get back up, I'm assuming," Jennie muses.

"No. We weren't taught that....I learnt that all on my own."

She smiles. "Maybe you can teach me some time."

I nod and she takes a sip of her coffee. She turns to the side and gives me her gorgeous side profile. Her dark hair is falling in uncombed waves. The sun is shining through the window and spotlighting her almost. She closes her eyes and sees to take comfort in the small warmth the sun brings through the window.

She's....beautiful.

But do I think that because she looks like Jihye or.....

We both drink our coffee in companionable silence. Then I place my cup on the nightstand and stand up. "I want to meet your brother."

"You don't want to meet my brother," Jennie warns as I get my stuff together.

"I need to," I say. "He's the only one I haven't met and he lives only 10 minutes from here."

She places her mug down and crosses her arms. "I would come but I need to go to the hospital for some signature signing. And then there's an event coming up this weekend. You have to come with me. I won't take no for an answer."

I sigh. "Fine. But you have to buy me something. I have no formal clothes."

"Sure!" She chirps. "What size?"

I tell her and her jaw drops. "Seriously?"

Her eyes scan my body and I place a hand on my hip. "I've been told I have a model physique before. Just because I'm 40 doesn't mean I lost my body." I pull on a sweater and grab some jeans to change into. I brush my teeth and put some deodorant and perfume on along with washing my face.
