chaprer 4 "idiots and partys"

Y/n and Eddie had been hanging out every day of the holidays, weather she was watching his band play, they were on the hill smoking weed, watching movies in his trailer or he taught her to play D&D. They grew so close in such a short time, they were like best friends.
Y/n always felt like there could be more but she didn't know if he felt the same and she didn't wanna ruin their friendship. He was the only friend she had so far and she didn't wanna risk loosing that. So she kept it to herself.
Now she was starring into her mirror to do one last check on her makeup and fresh washed hair. She was wearing her favorite black ripped jeans and a corroded coffin shirt eddie and his band made specifically for their "first official fangirl". She smiled at the thought of it. When he introduced her to his band they were all so nice and immediately accepted her into their friend group.

She headed to the kitchen, making herself a lunch bag and headed out the door, ready for her first day at the new school. Eddie was already waiting outside to take her to school with him, since they had the same way. She didn't hesitate to jump right into the van as he hold her the door open like always. He turned up the iron maiden song that was playing and they drove off.

When they arrived at school he tossed his cigarette out the window, jumped out the car and ran to her door to open it for her, making that little gentleman bow he used to do. It always made her giggle. He walked her to his friends outside the school and introduced her to the ones she hadn't met yet. "Everybody this is y/n, she moved in next door to me, she's new here in Hawkins and she's super cool so please be nice to her. Y/n, these are Mike, Dustin and...oh I guess Sinclair is with his basketball friends again so you'll just meet him later. The others you already met." Dustin and Mike smiled at her "Hi y/n nice to meet you." Dustin gives Eddie this funny look "so that's where you've been all holiday huh?" he asks jokingly. "Shut up Henderson" Eddie says, giving him a warning look, which didn't really look that scarry to
y/n to be honest.
They all talked for a while and y/n noticed they all were wearing the same shirt, Eddie already told her about Hellfire and that he wanted to include her in the next game.

It was time to get inside so Eddie walked y/n to the principals office to get her timetable and then he walked he to class, to make sure she wouldn't get lost in the building. "See you at lunch" he said smiling down at her. "Yeah see you there" y/n replied giving him a big smile as well.
The classes passed by pretty quickly and finally the bell rang, signaling it was time for lunch. Y/n packed he bag and got up, walking towards the cafeteria as she hear a gril talking. She sounded upset and as y/n got closer she could her her what she was saying "I said leave me alone, I don't know you and I sure don't wanna go out with you" she said. It almost sounded like she was about to cry and she was obviously scared. As y/n walked around the corner quickly she could see a boy who she had never seen before, and obviously wasn't one of the popular kids, against the lockers. Between him and the lookers was a girl, about y/n age with blond hair and a cheerleader outfit, pushed against the lockers by this creep and obviously scared. "Hey shitface she told you to leave her alone" y/n yelled, loud enough for probably a few people to hear. Angry the guy looked up at her "and who the fuck are you to tell me what to do" he asked, walking towards her and coming to a stop just a few inches away from her. "Someone who will knock your teeth out if you don't fuck off right now, also the teachers probably heard my yelling and are already on their way to check what this is about so I'd kindly suggest for you to leave." Y/n answered, looking up to him with no sign of fear in her eyes, she could be very brave if she needed to. Still an angry look on his face he pushed her aside and walked away, now concerned y/n turned to the girl. "Hey are you okay?" Y/n asked calmly. "Y...yeah...thank you...he just...has been bothering me the whole day asking me out and not accepting when I said no...I'll just tell my boyfriend later and he'll take care of it..." the girl replied, still obviously scared. "I'm y/n by the way, what's your name?" "I'm Chrissy, nice to meet you, and thanks again" she said, now with a soft smile on her face. "Hey uhm...why don't you come to my party on Saturday, everyone is invited and you can bring whoever you want with you...just...you know...as a thank you...I insist you com." Y/n didn't like partys, didn't like the kind of people that came with them, but Chrissy seemed nice and she looked so happy. "Well I can't say no I guess since you insist...so I guess I'll pop in to say hi." You reply, "great let me just write you the adress down" she said, a big smile on her face now. She wrote her address on a piece of paper and gave it to you, then she left.
Y/n headed to the cafeteria and she could already see Eddie's table. She smiled and walked over. As she sat down she told them what had just happened " ....and then this Chrissy girl invited me to her party on Saturday, she said everybody is invited and that I could bring whoever I want. So I was hoping you guys might wanna com with me because I really don't want to go there alone..." "Whait Chrissy the cheerleader invited you to a party and you want us to come with you and you think we would say no to that?" Garrett replied in disbelieve. So it was set, you and the guys were going to this party on Saturday.
