"as long as I'm with you" ~ Eddie Munson

chapter 13 "Warzone"

After a very heated discussion everyone came to a decision,  a decision no one was comfortable with but they knew it had to be done. They would get weapons and then go back to the upside-down,  using Max to distract Vecna and kill him. But now they had another problem,  where should they get weapons?

Eddie put a newspaper on the table "Warzone, I've been there once and they have everything from knives to guns and grenades,  everything " he said "how is this legal?" Robbin asked. "Well lucky for us it is" Eddie said with he smile that looked so God damn hot on him, it gave y/n butterfly's.  "But it would take all day to cycle there and back" Dustin said. "Who said something about cycling there?" Eddie replied.  "So do you have a car ?" Robin asked. "Well I wouldn't exactly call it a car...."

After Max gave Eddie her Michael Myers mask they snuck around the house to a camper. Quietly they climbed inside and locked the door. Eddie hot wired the camper like it was nothing. Y/n looked at him shocked but also impressed,  to be honest it looked kinda hot. The engine started and the owners of the camper noticed them and obviously they weren't to happy about it so Steve drove off quickly.

Once they reached warzone, Steve, Robin, Nancy and Erica went inside to get weapons.  Dustin, Lucas, Max, Eddie and y/n stayed behind.  Y/n only knew Lucas as the one who changed to the dark side so she introduced herself since they didn't really had the opportunity so far. "Hey I'm y/n by the way" she said, holding out her hand to Lucas. He took her hand to shake it "I'm Lucas,  nice to meet you" he replied.  "So your like...Eddie's girlfriend or something?" He asked. "Y...yeah I'm his girlfriend " she replied.  "Whitch you would know if you would have spend some time with us instead of your new friends...." Dustin whispered with a sassy tone. Lucas looked to the floor,  he seemed to be ashamed about it.

Lucas went back to talking with Max and y/n leaned her head against Eddie and listened to the conversation he and Dustin were having.  She loved listening to them, they were always goofing around,  even in a situation like this and their whole way in talking to each other had something calming. They also always made sure to include her in the conversation every  now and then so she wouldn't feel excluded. She looked up at Eddie, his beautiful brown eyes and the way he smiled,  trying to imprint the image of every inch of his face in her mind, because deep inside her, it felt like this could be the last time she could see him like this. And she was scared,  scared of what might be coming because she couldn't imagine life without him. Without the way his hair moved in the wind, the way he was talking,  joking, laughing,  the way he smiled and the way his eyes sparkled when he looked at her or Dustin.  She loved the way he was looking at him, like a dad looking at his son. Y/n was ripped out of her thoughts when the door of the camper swung open. The others jumped inside as if they were in panic,  trying to get away as fast as possible.  "Woah what's going on?" Lucas asked, starting to panic as well. "Your new friends are here" Erica replied. And with that, they drove off as fast as they could.
