"as long as I'm with you" ~ Eddie Munson

chapter 7 "balls in laundry baskets "

It was and average Friday, Eddie had taken y/n to school in his van like every day. He brought her to her first lesson and gave her a kiss at the door "see you at lunch sweetheart " he said to her like every day. Y/n gave him another little kis before entering the classroom.  Eddie and her had been officially dating for a few months now. Today was the day before springbreak,  Mike would fly to California to visit Will and his girlfriend Jane. That's all y/n knew so far. She and Eddie had planned to make a little trip in his van over the holidays,  they wanted to drive to the Westcoast and spend some quality time together.  Y/n had the idea when Eddie told her he'd never seen the beach before. But the most thime they would probably spend laying on the beach as high as they could get.
It's  all y/n could think of the whole day, she didn't even try to focus on the teacher and when the bell for lunch break finaly rang, she jump3d up, grabed her bag and stormed out.
When she sat down at their table Eddie was reading out of a magazine.  An article about dungeons and dragons,  it was total bullshit, something about satanic cults and shit like that. "We're the freaks, because we like to play a fantasy game....but.." Eddie said, jumping on the table, "as long as your into bands, or science, or... parties" he said with a funny voice,  then he put his hands around his mouth so he could yell even louder, "or a game where you toss balls into laundry baskets" he yelled. Jason got up from his table "want something freak?" He shouted angrily.  "Damn guess that pulled a trigger" y/n though to herself. But Eddie's only response to Jason's anger was a funny "devil face" he made. Y/n couldn't help but giggle. Eddie got down from the table and set bach on his chair. That's when Mike and Dustin told him Sinclair wouldn't be at the game tonight. But is didn't even bother him much, y/n had already replaced Sinclair a few times since Eddie teached her how to play D&D.

Lunch came to an end eventually and the school day continued.  Y/n spend the lessons drawing in her sketchbook,  she couldn't focus anyways. When the schoolbell finaly rang she stormed out of the school and rushed out to the parking lot  where Eddie already waited for her.
She jumped into his arms giving him a big hug and a soft kiss. He smiled at her "Missed me?" "Always do" she replied with a smile. "Hey darling can you wait in the van? I just have to do a quick deal it won't be long" Eddie said. "Sure no problem " y/n noded, smiling at him. She was user to his little deals and it didn't bother her. When you weren't one of these rich kids getting everything you wnat, you needed to find your own way of getting money, especially in Eddie's cases,  since he used the money to support his uncle and his band as good as he could. It wasn't much but it was better than nothing.  She turned up the music in the van while she watched him walk off.
A few minutes later she saw him coming back but she was surprised to see who he was coming back with. As he sat next to her in the van she looked at him surprised.  "Chrissy is buying drungs?! I always thought she would never toutch such things?" Y/n said to him. He looked just as surprised as her, "Yes I'm shocked too, and not only that but she asked for something stronger...like...the stuff i don't carry to school with me so ill have to continue the deal after the match. But something semed...wired...she seemed almost...scared..." he said, a concerned look on his face. It warmed y/n heart to see how carring he was even though he always tryed to seem scarry, he had a good heard and such a sweet soul.
"Don't worry...it's probably because she isn't used to buy stuff like that" she says, putting a hand on his leg to comfort him, giving him a soft smile. "Yeah your probably right" he said, now smiling at her too. With that, they drove home.

At the trailer park:
"Well see you later when i pick you up for the campaign" he said with a big smile on his face, grabbing your waist to pull you to him anf holding you close. "Yeah, can't wait for it" you say smiling at him. He gives you a passionate kiss and you head to your trailer.  Exited you tell your dad everything about your day (except for the drug dealing part of course ) and about the match you'll have later. "I'm glad my daughter is happy her" he says with a smile, giving you a big hug. You guys continue chatting for a while. You look at the clock...still soo long till you meet Eddie for the game....
