"as long as I'm with you" ~ Eddie Munson

chapter 9 "difrent dimensions"

Y/n and Eddie looked at the others in shock, still processing what they just told them. "Hold up, so you're telling me, that theres a difrent dimension with monsters and stuff, right beneth Hawkins, and theres this lab and this girl an..." y/n couldn't realy belive it, but after what Eddie had seen, it didn't seem that crazy anymore.

The others keept explaining everything to y/n and Eddie, that they didn't quite know what had been killing Chrissy, but that they would investigate to find out. When they left, it was just y/n and Eddie, confused af. They were sitting on the floor, starring into the air, thinking about what they just learned. Y/n looked at Eddie and realized thet he looked very scared. "Are you okay?" She asked, carefully putting her hand on his. He shook his head "nah not realy...I mean...sooner or later they will need someone to blame and...Chrissy was in my trailer so....at one point their all going to Hund the freak" he said...looking worryed. "Hey i won't let anyone hurt you okay?" She moved closer, now kneeling right infront of him "As long as I'm alive i will be by your side. I won't leave, I'll stay right here, i promise." He looked at her with these big brown eyes now filled with fear and sadness, but deep down she could also see the tiniest bit of hope. She gently placed her hand in his neck, giving him a soft kiss on his forehead. He grabbed her waist and pulled her gently onto his lap. Then he leaned his head against her chest, taking a deep breath. She wraped her arms around him, one hand in his back, the other in his hair carefully crawling his head. She felt his tears soaking through her shirt but he didn't make a single noise. She held him a little tighter, not knowing how much longer he could keep on fighting against all this bullshit. But she knew she would stay with him, till the very end, she would find a way to prove his innocence and get him out of this mess.

After a few hours you two started to get hungry and decided to look for something to eat. You found a can of Tomato soup and grated it up on the stove. Eddie took the walkie-talkie to tell Dustin to get you two some food. You were so bored and there was nothing to so Eddie and you layed down in the floor in the boats house,your head laying on his stomach and started talking.  You were talking about the futer, what you wanted to do when all this mess was finaly over. Eddie wanted to go on tour with his band and become famous.  And you wanted to follow him wherever he goes. "I'll be your number one fan and stand in the first row at every concert " you say, smiling up at him. "And will you bring my number two fan to the concerts as well one day?" He asks, looking down at him. "Number two fan?" You ask confused.  "Yeah...our little one wr might have one day, maybe a minie me ...or a minnie you" he says, smiling kindly at you. "I'd love that" you reply sitting up and kissing him softly. He grabs your waist with one hand and just as he wants to pull you onto his lap rhe door swings open and the others walk in. You two sit up quickly.

They hold up some shopping bags with food, smiling at you.
You watch Eddie munch on his Honeycombs as the others explained that someone else had died. It was that guy named Fred that was always around Nancy. They also told them that the police and everyone else in the town were now actively searching for Eddie, framing him for the murders.

They said something about still being in the brainstorming phase of how to kill Vecna but that we shouldn't worry. Y/n noticed the look on Eddie's face when they told him not to worry. His "are you kidding me " face was kinda cute and almost made her giggle a little bit. But this whole situation was just so messed-up,  how could anyone think Eddie had done this? How could she prove his innocence? Well....there was a way...by killing Vecna.  But how should they get to the upside-down? That's  what the others were trying to find out, so after a while of explaining everything to y/n and Eddie, they left again. Leaving them behind with even more questions than before.
