chapter 10 "lovers lake "

You and Eddie sit up straight when you hear the sound of a car pulling up infront of the boats house.  He crawls over to the window to peak out. "Shit! Shit ahit shit!" He wispers, starting to panic. You risk a glance as well and see Jason and his friends getting out of the car, armed with badeball bat's. "Oh fuck" you look around for a way out of this. "The boat" you wisper. "What?" Eddie asks. "The boat, we can get our with the boat, they will search the house first so we row away and till they notice us were already too far gone." You say quietly.  He nods and carefully prepares to beat for you two to escape, tryingnot to make any noise.

Your already a couple of meters away from the shore as you hear someone calling. "Hey freak where do you think your going?!" Jason shouts angrily. 
"SHIT SHIT SHIT!" Eddie screamed, franticly trying to start the engine. Meanwhile Jason and his friend took off their shoes and started swimming towards them. The engine didn't start and Jason and Patrick were already way to close. Eddie grabed a paddle and tried to row away but Jason had already reached the boat. Eddie swung the paddle at him screaming for him to stay away, he was panicking and so were you. "Comeon Patrick we almost got them!" Jason screamed, "Patrick? Patrick!" Patrick didn't reply, he was starring into the air, and when you looked at Eddie you could tell by the horrified look on his face that he knew that stare. Suddenly Patrick got pulled under water by something. "Patrick?!" Jason screamed. "Nonono fuck shit PATRICK?!" You yelled as well.  Suddenly his body lifts up into the air, his eyes rolled into the back of his head. Eddie stumbles back in shock,  falling into the water. "Eddie!" You screamed,  nothing,  "Shit!" Without hesitation you jump after  him but the lake is pitch black and you don't see shit. You swim back up calling him again "Eddie? EDDIE?!" Tears filling in you eyes. Suddenly you feel a had on your shoulder. It's Eddie. "Eddie!" You say, glad that he seems to be alright.  "We need to get out of here" he says, taking your hand he starts swimming to the shore. Jason is still distracted by Patrick.  Your not sure if you will ever get that image out of your head again,  you feel horrible that Eddie had to watch this twice.

You two finally arrived at the shore and, obviously,  you were drenched. "Shit the walkie-talkie is busted" Eddie said, holding the soaked walkie-talkie in his hands. "Shit...okay we need to get out of here before the police arrives" you say. "And another murder I'll be framed for, what a great week" Eddie said sarcastically as you two walk off. It's already morning again when you reached an construction site. Carefully Eddie was sneaking up to get a new walkie-talkie,  he waited for the right moment, grabed one and quickly came back to you. Then you ran back into the woods. You two just keept on walking,   not knowing where to go and always fearing to be seen. Your legs were numb and hurt when you reached skullrock, so you two decided to stay there and after a while, you finaly reached Dustin with the walkie-talkie. After Eddie told the others you location all you could do was wait.

"I'm sorry" Eddie said suddenly. "What?" Y/n replied confused.  "Sorry for what Eddie?" She asked, now a little worried. "I'm sorry for pulling you into this mess, for getting you involved in all this now your in danger and I don't know if I can protect you, I couldn't protect Chrissy and you could just live your life if it wasn't for me and-" you cut him of by moving over to him and putting both your hands on his cheeks. "Eddie a life without you would totally suck, your the only one who really understands me, your always there for me and you didn't get me into anything I CHOSE to be involved in this because I fucking love you you idiot. So would you please stop talking this nonsense,  if I could choose I would still be right here with you rather than anywhere else, were going to stand this through,  were going to find a way to kill Vecna, were gonna prove your innocence to every single asshole in this God damn town and then we make this fucking trip to the east coast that this bastard of and evil wizard or whatever he is had ruined. Got it?" You looked him deep into his dark brown eyes that were filled with tears. One single tear was making it's way down his cheek and you carefully wiped it away with your thumb.  Then you pulled him into a hug, his head resting on your shoulder. "I love you so so much Eddie" you wispered into his ear. "I love you to y/n, more than you know" he said quietly.
