As we walked down the beach and really continued just taking everything in, I spoke up breaking our comfortable silence. "Do you think we can do this?" I ask and he stops walking abruptly

"There is no way you are already having second thoughts, I haven't even had the change to ask you out." He says in disbelief as if walk over to where he was frozen

"No it's not second thoughts. It's just a genuine question,like we had our issues but do you think we are going to be good?" I ask and take his hands in mine

"I think we've had our issues, but I think it's gonna work between us. Because the worst that could happen already did, and we know how to avoid it." He says as I nod

"Interesting." I say quietly

"Well what about you, do you think this will work?" He asks as his hands make their way out of mine and to my waist

"I really hope so. It's the weirdest thing, I actually really like you." I joke and he laughs quietly

"You what?" He asks

"Stop, now is not the time for jokes." I say and I push away from him and we begin walking again

"You're making more jokes than me. And you have a crush on me, it's such an odd day today." He says as I shake my head

"When you say it like that it sounds like we are 9 years old." I mutter

"But you do. It's okay, I know I'm good looking, I tell myself every morning when I wake up." He jokes

"That's really conceited. Please tell me you don't actually do that ." I ask and he smiles

"Who doesn't?" He asks as I shake my head

"Sorry to break it to you, but nobody. That's really weird, unfortunately." I say

"Have you talked to Marco?" He asks and I shake my head

"No, Sandra says I should because she has a hunch he already knows something is up. But I'm still nervous." I say

"Do you think he's gonna be mad?" Pedri asks and I shrug

"Honestly, I have no clue" I huff "Sandra like swears he knows, or at least has a hunch. Apparently we haven't been too discreet. Like at all." I laugh

"Interesting, I feel we did good though." He shrugs

"Actually she says you confirmed her hunch because you care about me to much, and apparently you asked about me, a lot." I say and he laughs

"Darn. I think we'll be alright." He says

"You know, it's so peaceful out here. Like so little people around, not a lot of noise. It's kinda perfect." I practically whisper as I admire our surroundings.

"Okay I think I'm picking up what you're putting down." He chuckles

"What do you got? Let's hear it!" I exclaim

"You want to ignore all my other plans and stay here, at the beach."he says and I nod

"It's not you, I promise it's not you. I just think this is so nice, like it's so private." I say and he laughs

"Aren't you hungry though? We can get something quick and then come back?" He suggests

"You're sweet. We can get something if it's actually quick. Like something to go." I say and he nods

"Okay let's do that, then we can just eat it over here." He says

"What do you want to eat?" I ask

"It's completely up to you, I'm a gentleman." He smiles and I roll my eyes
