Chapter 5 - The language of like

Cyra's POV

"I want to be in the same world you were in"

Halos isumpa ko ang sarili ko nang maalala ko ang sinabi kong iyon kay Ms Venus. Kasalukuyan kami ngayong nasa hotel, roommate ko si Zephyr and Ms Venus at ang mga lalaki ay magkakasama.

Medyo pa-hapon narin kaya nang magkarating kami sa hotel napagpasyahan namin magpahinga muna.

Ms Venus and Zephyr decided to order food kasama yung boy best friend ni Ms Venus samantalang ako naiwan sa room at halos mag-wala sa kahihiyan.

Why did I say that?

I'm so stupid!!

Ilang minuto rin akong nagmukmok bago ako nakatanggap ng text kay Zephyr na bumaba nalang daw ako dahil naroon silang lahat.

Once I change my clothes, hinanap ko sila and I saw them on the main lobby, there's an awkward silence pa habang nakaupo sila sa couch.

"You're finally here... Can we order now, big sis?" Keita asked with a sarcastic tone, I saw Ms Venus give him a glare as she nodded.

"Dito kana umupo!"

"Dito ka sa tabi ko!"

Nagulat pa kami nang sabay na magsalita ang kambal, they glared at each other as if they were throwing invisible bullets.

"Kayo nalang yung mag tabi" pabiro kong tugon saka ay umupo sa gitna nina Ms Venus at Toshiro-san who's currently having a conversation.

"I'm sorry did I disturb you?" I asked with a smile as sat between them and saw him glared at me. He looked away with his teeth gritted, I rolled my eyes and look at Ms Venus.

"I want to be in the same world you were in"

As our eyes met, I immediately looked away, my face flushed and my heart flutters.

Damn it, bakit dito ako umupo?

"Here's your order Ma'am, Sir! Have a great dinner!" One of the hotel staff served us foods and beverages, nagpasalamat naman kami saka ay nagsimula ng kumain.

Medyo naging awkward pa ang pwesto ko dahil paulit ulit na nilalagyan ng pagkain ni Toshiro-san ang plato ni Ms Venus.

Langya dito pa naka pwesto...

When I finished my meal, I was about to stand up and left but a hand stopped me. A hand of a woman with low body temperature yet every time we touch, her temperature comforts me.

"Let's go together, Hinata-chan"

I subconsciously nodded and as we made our way to our room, I felt kind of guilty sa inasal ko.

"You seems bothered by something. What is it?" Pag pasok namin sa room ay may pinakita agad siya sa phone nya.

"Nothing... I'm sorry." I looked down as I felt embarrassed, i have no idea why I'm acting like this to be honest.

Yet those guilt disappear when she gently cupped my chin and made me look at her. She gave me a small yet sweet smile as she signed me to looked at her in the eyes.

"It's fine... But I hope you know I'm not just your boss, I'm also your friend. If there's something or someone bothering you, just tell me..." I nodded like a child who likes to obey their parents.

"Go to sleep... You must be pretty tired." I shook my head in response as I stared into her eyes.

"I'm fine..."

Am I?

Am I really okay?

That question keep me all night, I couldn't sleep and all I could think is that question. Am I really okay? Or I'm just pretending? But why would I pretend?

When I receive a notification on my phone, dali dali ko itong tinignan, I saw a message from my sister who's in the Philippines right now.

Lumayas na si Papa.

I chuckled sadly as I turn off my phone. I feel a pang right through my heart and there's a lump on my throat that gives me a hard time to swallow my own saliva.

I took a deep breath as I get out of bed and walked out of our room. Kahit malamig ay pumunta ako sa labas, I decided to go on the seashore and calm my broken heart.

Pag dating ko roon ay walang tao kahit isa, madilim din ang paligid at ang tanging sinag ng buwan ang nagbibigay ng liwanag upang makita mo parin ang karagatan kahit na madilim ang kapaligiran.

I miss my family...

I miss my life...

I miss those time when I still have my own little world...
