==============
If there was one thing I detested about going to school, it was everything that came into being, except my friends.
What about the other things? Yeah, expect me to despise them all to the core.
"Whoop, whoop whoop! It's exam day, everyone! Yeah, we're absolutely screwed," Hanni said, laughing and sighing.
"Our three-day version of hell is about to begin," Hyein moaned.
"Yeah, no shit," I murmured slumping down into my seat.
"I hate Wednesday, more so than Monday by now" I went on to say.
"No cap," Hyein muttered.
"Man, I can't wait to graduate!" Hanni whined.
"Dude, I can't wait to die!"I exclaimed.
"Calm down, guys," a gentle voice interrupted us. We all looked up and saw Haerin smiling at us.
Damn, what an angel.
"You look like heaven on earth, smiling that way, Haerin unnie," Hyein commented. Hanni nodded furiously, and I merely gave her a shy smile.
"How can you be so calm while we're about to overwork our brains and risk death?" Hanni joked, eliciting a giggle from Haerin.
Again, as Hyein stated, heaven—pure heaven.
"Yeah no. I'm nervous, just like you guys! It's just that I'm not really good at expressing myself." She rubbed her head.
"Oh, it is understandable! "Even I couldn't help but go silent when I get too nervous," Hanni explained.
"Quit with the foolishness. You're the loudest ass person I've ever known, and I'm sure you're noisy even when you sleep." Hyein shrugged, taunting Hanni.
Haerin chuckled quietly and placed her bag near her chair. "Where is Dani?"I asked to begin a conversation.
Haerin sighed and said, "She'll be absent for the rest of the week..."
I hummed. I nearly forgot "Do you want to tag along with us for the rest of the week?" I inquired, not understanding where this confidence was coming from.
"I mean, absolutely. But if I ever trouble you guys, just let me know, and I'll go right away." She raised her palms in defense.
"Don't worry, we'd be damn blessed to have you join us—if that's enough to reassure you." I chuckled and shrugged.
Before sitting down, Haerin smiled and whispered a silent "Thank you".
Following that, the lengthy wait began.

"Alright! Everybody back to their seats; your proctor will be with you in a minute. Make sure you have your folders with you, pencil cases, ball pens--I want all you'll need today to be on top of your desks" Mrs. Lee gave a firm order.
Following her directions with obedience, everyone scrambled back to their positions.
She began giving us all the information we needed after that.
The first day of the exam started right away.
"Is there anybody with an extra pen? I misplaced mine." Immediately thereafter, a classmate of mine is using one of his ploys to see someone else's exam paper.
What am I supposed to say? Nothing has altered by senior high school; things are essentially the same, if not worse.
"Here!" Beomgyu grinned at Haerin as she lifted a pen in her palm.
