"Something tells me that you're a 'Say it, do it' type of person..." Haerin said.
I laughed aloud. "What are you trying to do?"
"I'm just trying to guess what you'll say," she pouted and shrugged.
"Don't worry, I won't ask anything unusual, I assure ya" I chuckled.
She whined and nodded. "I trust you on that, Min,"
I started to ponder. I'm not sure what to say.
"Alright...Never have I ever...-"
The bell abruptly rang and reverberated throughout the school as I was going to speak. Pupils exited the benches and formed a line on the quad.
Darn it! What a wasted opportunity.
Haerin got up and said, "Ouch, let's just continue this next time, okay?"
I agreed with a melancholy sigh. Before she lined up with the others, she gave my shoulders a little pat and expressed her sincere intentions.
With a single whisper, "O-Okay," I responded.
After Dani excused herself to get our classmates to line up properly, Hanni, who had been chatting with Danielle before, went towards me.
"Oh, that was something," she said, laughing at my state.
With a shrug, she said, "At least there's some progress going on," and I raised an eyebrow.
I rolled my eyes and said, "Progress my ass, Hanni."
As if perfect timing, Hyein showed up and the three of us followed the others—lining up at the far back.

A week has passed since the Never Have I Ever game was abandoned.
It also gave us enough time to adjust to Dani and Haerin's presence. We finally became acquainted with them and grew closer to them.
Hyein and Haerin became so close that they were literally cursing one another!
Dani and Hanni, however, began talking about their shared interests in makeup and other things.
While I'm close to each person in the circle, I suppose.
Most notably with Haerin, given that we were seatmates; I must admit that my shyness was fading and I was gradually becoming more daring by the day.
"Hey, may I borrow your bible?" Haerin timidly said, grinning from ear to ear.
And lately, it was Haerin who was starting to feel shy around us, or maybe just me.
"Sure. Today's gospel is where the bookmark is," I said, passing her my bible.
For an instant, our hands touched--flustering me.
Her cheeks were flushed a pale pink when I looked her in the eyes.
"Uh- I- Thank you," she said with a trembling laugh.
"S-Sure, heh," I replied, scratching my nape.
Did I say bold? Who on earth am I fooling?

"Alright, everybody pair up! In this performance task, you'll look for 10 things in your homes, write them down, and have a teacher convert them to any other language—preferably English since that's our subject. That's performance task number 1! Performance task number 2 is recording yourselves, still, as partners, talking to that chosen teacher in English. These are to be passed by next week, Monday,"

FanfictionYeah, Minji's definitely convinced she's straight, even so when she is clearly head over heels for Haerin, a classmate and a friend who's too damn dangerous for her and her poor heart (she def ain't straight).
