There was a lone bartender that was cleaning the tables. This place was going through a remodeling process so it had to be closed down for a few days.

He wiped off some sweat as he continued to rub a cloth over one of the tables. He wished he hadn't entered work so early, he was so eager to work today only to find out he came in too early and there was nobody else to help him set everything up.

But because he was already there, he thought that he might as well do at least some work before his co-workers arrive. It doesn't help a ton, but it does get a bunch of dirty tables off the to-do list.

Right as he was on his seventh table that morning, the entrance door suddenly opened and he turned to see if it was one of his colleagues. But who he saw was not who he expected.

"Okay, I need you to do some maintenance checks in the- oh, Owen, it's just you." The bartender said.

Grady walked over to the man. He may not go to town too much, but some of the folk do know him by name.

"I can't really get you a beer right now since we've been doing some remodeling so..." The bartender trailed off.

"That's alright, Benny. I've been taking a break from drinking as of late. I'm here to ask you about something else." Owen responded.

"Well, make it fast. My co-workers might show up at any second and they're definitely not as open to talking to people who shouldn't be here like you during these hours." Benny replied.

Owen cleared his throat.

"Have you seen any pickup trucks that came by recently?" Owen asked.

"You know how little that narrows it down? There's a lot of trucks that come by here." Benny answered.

"I'm just gonna cut to the chase. Have you seen any guys that look like hunters? Maybe you've seen a gun or two?" Owen queried.

The bartender then started to think of anything that would relate to what Owen was asking him about. He's one of the most active employees here so he'd definitely notice something like this if he looked hard enough.

Owen tapped one of his hands on a table. However, he wasn't getting impatient. But the more time he spends not pursuing Maisie, the more he was getting worried. For all he knows, if Henry or Biosyn is behind this, what do they intend to do with her?

Ripper has spoken to him in detail about what those wretched people did to him back then. He would hate himself even after the end of time if something similar happened to his girl.

"Now that you mentioned it, there were a few guys two days ago who came by. Seemed pretty tough. I saw them drive through here while I was mopping the floor. I actually saw one of the men who had a rifle with him but it stayed in his truck. Their boss, if you could call him that, just screamed business and nothing else. Looked like the smart type when it came to hunting." Benny explained.

"And what did this "boss" look like? Did he have long hair, a beard, and green eyes?" Owen furthered.

"Huh, that's exactly what he looked like. I think I remembered hearing one of his guys call him by name. The name starts with a D I think... De- Delly? No, not that... *snaps fingers* ah, Delacourt, that's the guy's name. Wait, why'd you ask?" Benny wondered.

"Let's just say he took something very important to me." Owen responded.

"Oh, alrighty then. Good luck with that." Benny finished.

Owen waved him goodbye as he exited the bar. When he came out, Claire was waiting for him near his bike. Before that, she was looking out in the distance, hoping that Maisie would still hold out until they got to her.
