The truck carrying the Dromeosaurs was about to take off. The agents were still stuck in a stand still with Soyona's men. None have them had made a move after the bullet from earlier was shot near one of the agents.
Barry and Daniel came down from the building they were on using a stairway. Both of them were now on the ground but they hid behind the building to avoid getting into the crossfire.
"This is probably above your jurisdiction, but it's worth it to get at least a few shots in." Daniel whispered as he pulled out a pistol.
"You sure they're not just going to gun you down the moment they lay their eyes on you?" Barry asked.
"I've been through worse. Much much worse." Daniel assured.
He held his gun low as he rounded a corner. If he moved any further, he would've been spotted. But he was looking for a good opening.
There was a one of Soyona's men near him. If he times this right, it'll give the agents a small window to attack since the other men would be too focused on him to notice their attack.
However, as willing as Daniel was to get himself into dangerous situations like this. Even a man like him still feared death. But not just because he himself wants to walk away alive.
He gently stroked the pendant in his necklace and took a deep breath.
"Volveré a casa. Sólo necesito arreglar algunas cosas." Daniel whispered to himself.
As he looked again, the man he was focusing on was inching forward ever so slightly. As if he was about to make a move on the agents. Daniel's right foot moved to the side, almost as if his body was on autopilot and he was acting purely on his instincts.
Just as Daniel came out to execute his plan, he heard screaming from the exit that Delacourt used to escape. From it, a bunch of participants were running away from the market and into the streets. They didn't even care if there was a confrontation happening, they pushed through Soyona's men and the agents, ruining Daniel's plan of attack.
Daniel moved back. He doesn't know what happened in there but if he had to guess, considering Delacourt was the one who kidnapped Maisie, Owen must've done something in there that made everyone else run away.
Barry moved over to where Daniel was and the sight of this many people running reminded him of Jurassic World when the Pterosaurs unleashed havoc on Main Street.
Then another sound came out of the exit. It wasn't a scream, it was a loud kind of sound, but not one that any human can make. But these things were far from human.
Terrance charged out of the exit and flung people away using his head and he stomped on the rest with the Suchomimus following closely behind. The agents spread out as they tried to avoid the incoming theropods.
Soyona's men, who were caught in the crowd, were violently trampled as the two predators kept moving forward.
"I don't know what your friend did in there, but I'm guessing he left quite a mess." Daniel observed.
"Believe me, it happens more often than I'd like to talk about." Barry replied.
One of the people at the front of the crowd was none other than Soyona herself. She narrowly avoided getting crushed under the Suchomimus' foot as she picked herself up and rushed to the truck.
The driver who was startled by the dinosaurs escaping, looked to his right and saw Soyona entering the truck.
"Madam Santos?" The driver asked.
"Drive!" Soyona ordered.
"But what about-" The driver was cut off.
"We'll worry about transporting the Dromeosaurs later. Get moving!" Soyona urged.
