A day after the fierce competition between Y/N and Vi, the Last Drop is continuing its operation as the hottest spot to hang in the Undercity

"Y/N! Are you done cleaning those mugs!?!" Vander shouts as he serves a few customers their drinks

"Almost!" He yells back, to which the man rolls his eyes at

"I told you to clean those an hour ago!" He shouts once more, causing the boy to nervously look to the side as he wipes clean a mug

"I was... busy..." He softly utters while remembering earlier events

"Oh, so good." Vi happily expresses while stuffing her face alongside Y/N

"See? Told ya getting some grub will make the pain go away... kind of." He then slurps up some juices and swallows the contents in his mouth before letting out a content huff of air. "Man, doesn't get any better than this"

"You said it." Vi agrees while wiping her lips of leftover food. She then looks at Y/N with a smirk while leaning forward a bit on the table, making him chuckle at her

"Wh- What?" He asks with a nervous laugh mixed in, causing the pinkhead to shift her eyes to the side for a second before looking back at him

"Nothing. Just forgave you in my head for yesterday. This food makes up for it." She says, making Y/N chuckle a bit

"Good, because I promised Jericho that I'd help him around his food stand, so you better enjoy this." He expresses in a half-serious and half-playful tone, to which Vi laughs at

"Wow, doing all that for me? Gee, aren't I special?" She says snarky, earning a laugh out of the boy

"Yeah, yeah. Just eat your food." He says before continuing his meal with Vi, and after a bit longer, they pause and look up at the sky

"You know, I'm planning on getting some parts for Ekko, was wondering if you wanna come with?" Y/N says before turning his head to Vi who's still looking up. "Could use a lookout up there"

"You mean, like last time when we almost got caught because you punched a guy who called me ugly?" She replies with a questioning expression while turning her head to Y/N, causing him to raise his eyebrows while his eyes shut halfway, gaining a smug look

"You're actin' like the asshole didn't deserve it." The counterargument makes Vi rest her face on her palm while one of her eyebrows rises

"Okay, sure, but it doesn't seem all that worth it when we're surrounded by enforcers." In response to her being right, Y/N shrugs his shoulder and leans forward on the table while taking a handful of his grub and putting it into his mouth

"Was worth it to me..." He mumbles, yet not quietly enough as Vi hears every syllable uttered, making her grow a subtle smile while she shifts her eyes away from the boy for a moment

"But, sure. I'll go with you." Her answer causes Y/N's ears to perk up as he then turns his head to find her smirking while taking in some of her food

Y/N grows a subtle smile and nods with satisfaction. "Heh. Cool..." He takes another portion of the food into his mouth with ease. "We'll go later when it's rush hour at the bar. That way, Vander won't notice us being gone." The plan sounded solid to Vi; however, mention of the man, made her cease eating her food
