"Hm..." Y/N thinks to himself when Maddie extends her arm and self outward while giving him a vulnerable and comforting stare, softly smiling

The redhead soon twirls back to him while holding onto his hand, allowing his arm to wrap around her torso and shoulders

She slightly turns her head to the side and glances back at him, meeting his gaze, warmly staring into his eyes as he returns the look

They both move their bodies a bit, side to side while wearing subtle, content smiles

Maddie leans her backside against Y/N, resting in his embrace as she nuzzles her head near his neck, lying on his chest while her eyes close

Y/N begins to shift his steps to a backward motion, prompting the redhead to follow his lead, keeping her eyes closed, trusting his every movement

After reaching a desired distance, Y/N stops and signals Maddie for the eventual spin

She catches on and follows through with the move as Y/N spins her out in front, extending his arm as she comes out

Maddie throws out her free arm in a fashionable and confident style, making Y/N chuckle. She smirks at his reaction and moves toward him, gently and firmly grasping his fingers with hers

Y/N reaches out his hand and slides it across her waist, now holding her lower back steady as they move in a diagonal manner, circling back a few times to their original position

Maddie rests her free hand on the side of Y/N's bicep as he continues to balance her. Her smile widens, causing his to do the same

The two look past their irises, reaching deep into one another's soul, sharing the dance with their essence

They soon slow their movements and completely stop, holding each other while the cool wind brushes past their skin, accompanying their trance

They slowly pull back from each other and linger a bit with their stare; until Maddie grabs his hand again and leads him to the edge of the roof

She takes her seat as Y/N joins her

They lift their heads to view the night illuminated by the array of stars

Y/N gains a warm sensation in his chest while producing a sigh of contentment through his nostrils. "You know..."

Maddie turns her attention to Y/N as he intently looks up. "When I was little, my parents and I used to sit on the roof and just look up at the stars"

He chuckles at some of the memories. "They'd always tell me stories of how they were formed for us..."

"For us?" She asks, which he nods while keeping his eyes on them

"Yeah... That when they were being made, it was intended for our eyes." He grows a warm smile. "That each star represents the light every one of us can show to the world"

Maddie looks in awe at the lights but gains a smug grin while shifting her vision to him. "I think that's the first time I've ever heard you say something sophisticated"

Y/N chuckles and shrugs his shoulders. "Kino's been rubbing off on me"

Maddie chuckles as well and looks back at the stars

Y/N glances at her and gains an idea. "Something else I did with my folks was spotting"

She raises a brow in confusion at him. "Spotting?"
