The Chase

After destroying nearly an entire building, the Undercity crew of misfits run for their dear lives

"Hurry!" Y/N yells to the others as he leads the pack through the busy streets of Plitover, jumping structures, bumping and knocking residents over, and gaining the attention of them

"Stop them!" An enforcer screams to his fellow officers on bridges above, prompting them to grab and chuck their capturing devices at the children

The crew ducks and jumps out of the way of the many projectiles as they continue to run with all they have. "Get ready to jump!" Y/N says as he views a bridge rising up ahead, making Powder and Ekko gulp in fear

They soon make it to the bridge and all make their leaps; however, as Ekko makes his attempt, his ankles are clamped together as an enforcer latches their capturing device on him. The shift in momentum causes the boy to miss his mark and begin falling down toward the water

"AAAHHH!!!" He yells a terror-filled scream, one that Y/N hears and responds to in less than a second

"Get ready, Pow!" He orders as he grabs Powder and jumps off the bridge and toward Ekko. He reaches Powder out and holds her by the ankles as Vi grabs his

Powder stretches her arms and holds out her hands. "Ekko!" She yells and the boy in question responds by latching on to her with his fingers

"Hang on!" Vi yells as she presses her foot against the rising bridge and then yanks Y/N with all her strength to pull him to the surface with the others. They all harshly land on the ground but soon get up as Y/N gets to his feet and picks up the younger ones

"Come on!" Y/N says before removing Ekko's restraints and tossing him and Powder in front of himself to give them a boost. They all dodge more attempts of capture and eventually find themselves in a labyrinth of alleyways

"This way!" Vi yells as she heads down one of the alleys. She breaks off a piece of pipeline and causes a thick cloud of steam to engulf the area. She and the others then make it in front of a sewer, where Y/N breaks off the top and exposes the horrid stench of it

"I think I'm gonna hurl." Ekko mutters, yet his words are picked up on by the pinkhead as she then grabs him by the back of his shirt and chucks him down the hole

"You first, Little Man!" Vi says before giving Powder an enraged stare, prompting the blue-haired girl to follow Ekko's lead and head down the hole

"Ladies first- AHHH!!" Y/N yells as he is kicked by Vi down the sewer

"You said it, not me." The Pinkehead says while shrugging, briefly shutting her eyes, and smirking. She then jumps and slides down the hole that shoots her out to an area with piles of garbage

"Aw, my ass- AGH!" Y/N yelps in pain as Vi crashes into him, causing both of them to roll down the pile of trash and onto the floor. "Ugh..." Y/N mumbles as he lies face-down while Vi now sits on top of him

"That could've gone better." Ekko comments, causing Y/N to pick up his head as he and Vi throw daggers at the boy, making him feel a shiver down his spine

"You know what else could have been better?" Y/N angrily expresses as he gets up with Violet, both beginning to stomp their way toward the younger pair of their group. "Staying in The Lanes like we said!"

"Not coming up here and almost getting caught by enforcers!" Vi strictly says while pointing her index finger down at Powder, making her and Ekko shamefully lower their heads

After a moment of witnessing their expressions, the teens sigh, Y/N pinching the bridge of his nose as Vi shifts her eyes to the side while biting the side of her tongue
