Calla's POV:
The past few weeks with Ashley had been rough. We were unsuccesful over and over. I was starting to think that she was losing hope like Nick had. But Nick had found his mate. I felt bad for myself and her. She was getting more and more desperate by the day and I couldn't help her. I only felt worse when Bryn came into my room confessing that she missed me. So I promised her that we could go swimming today at the river. I woke up this morning covered in sweat. I had just had the most intense dream of my life. It was about a boy. I never dreamed about boys. He had shaggy black hair and beautiful green eyes. We had been separated by the same river that Bryn and I were going to today. And I couldn't get to him. it was driving my wolf insane. She kept howling "Him! Him! Him!" But I couldn't reach him and he couldn't reach me. eventually he turned and walked away. I woke up with my Wolf howling in my brain. I kept trying to decifer my dream while running with Bryn. "What if you meet him today?" I thought to myself. I shivered. Would Ashley be mad if I met my mate before her? Bryn and I arrived at the river. I was right. It really was a beautiful day. I stopped to smell the summer air when the most amazing thing I had ever smelled entered my nose. It smelled of fresh laundry, spices, pine, and cinnamon. Spicy, clean and sweet. It was amazing. I opened my eyes to see what caused the scent and froze. When I saw the wolf, my brain went crazy. "Him! Him! Him!" My wolf screamed. I shifted and Bryn did the same. "Ben?" I asked. He shifted "Calla. Yes, Calla." He said. I dove into the water. I had to reach him. He met me halfway. "Calla," He sighed. "My Calla. I found you." He nuzzled my neck. "Mine." I said to him. "Mine." He confirmed. Ben was perfect. He was a good 4 inches taller than me, with a lanky build and shaggy black hair that fell over his bright green eyes and the tan skin surrounding them. He was amazing, and he was all mine. I would've had him mark me right then and there in the cool water but Bryn was standing there. I thought she might be hurt, I know she was excited about today. But when I looked at her, all I saw was love and understanding. She nodded me and smiled with tears of joy in her eyes. "I'll see you later Cal." and with that, she shifted and was gone. It was just Ben and I then. I looked at him. I hadn't realized that he only had on jeans and I was in a very revealing bikini. I prayed that my blush wouldn't show. He smiled at me and said, "Hi beautiful." I gazed at him and said "Hi Ben." We hugged and nuzzled each other. I had never felt more complete than I did when I was in Ben's arms.
