"DINNER!" Yelled out Jay as he run around the bounty going crazy from the rule that he couldn't eat until everyone was at the table.
"Zane would you see if Lloyd would like to eat with us tonight" said sensei to Zane who stood up, preparing to go get Lloyd.
"I will do it now sensei" before he walked off in the direction of the medical room.

Zane opened the door and waited in the doorway for Lloyd to look up at him.
"Lloyd" said Zane at the sound of his name the boy looked up.
"Would you like to join the others and I for dinner?" Asked Zane as he again realised how small Lloyd really was. Lloyd looked up at him for a couple of seconds before he looked down again and replied.

"No" as much as Lloyd wanted to join them he also didn't want to get attached. Zane nodded and closed the door locking it behind him.
Lloyd sighed as the teenager left, his thoughts over the last few days (since he'd arrived at the residence of his uncle) had been getting away with him. He'd found an unlikely ally- if he could truely trust his family, more precisely, his father.
'I need to get to dad, hopefully he'll help me and maybe he won't leave me behind, but until then I have to find a way to get out of here.' Planned Lloyd as he got out of bed and started walking around the room. 'Three books, four pens, one glass of water and heaps of medical stuff nothing helpful, I guest I'll just have to get them to open the door and escape from there' said Lloyd in his mind as he climbed back in bed and slowly drifted from to sleep. He hadn't been doing much- and yet he'd get more tired than ever before.

"How's Lloyd?" asked Kai as Zane walked back into the room after checking to see if Lloyd wanted to have dinner with them.
"He seems fine, still quiet and he has decided he does not want to eat with us tonight" said Zane taking his seat next to Kai.
"The kid's nice enough, he's just not used to us yet" Kai reasoned, remembering many times in he and his sister's childhood when people hadn't known the same thing about them.
"Yeah, hey sensei your nephew is the cutest" commented Jay making Wu look up, the blue ninja hadn't stopped mentioning how many girls and boys would be lining up to date him when he grew up. It had in all honestly been getting on Kai's nerves.
"Gotta agree, sensei how can such a cute kid be Lord Garmadon's son- he's so scary and well not the handsomest person I've seen" continued Cole as he had been listening to the conversation while cooking dinner- it was his turn tonight.
"Before the evil took over Garmadon he was handsome, however I believe it's because he married the most beautiful woman you'd ever seen" said Wu as Cole placed down his famous chilli.
"Who's Lloyd's mother?" Asked Zane as he was the only one to start eating.
"Misako" said Wu as he grabbed a plate and started eating along with Cole and Zane.

NEXT DAY (LUNCH TIME)

"Guys, lunch is ready" called Nya walking outside to see the ninjas training and not playing video games for once.
"Yes! I'm starving, thanks Nya" cried Jay walking away from the training area and to where the food was being kept.
"Thanks sis"
"Yes thank you Nya, your cooking is always great" said Zane
"Stop sucking up Zane, but yeah Nya" said Cole walking behind his teammates as they all headed to the food.
When they got to the dinning area sensei was there waiting for them.
"Now boys, which one of you is going to go ask Lloyd if he wants to eat with us" said sensei
"ME" yelled Jay running off to the room Lloyd had been staying in. He was determined to be the one to be able to get through to the kid.

Jay unlocked the door and walked in to see Lloyd doing a handstand on the other side of the room.
"Nice handstand" said Jay surprised that the child could do a handstand, as much as he loved hanging out with kids, he was often surprised by what they could do. He honestly didn't even know how old Lloyd was.

The new voice surprised Lloyd and he lost his balance and came crashing to the ground. As soon as he fell, Jay ran over and kneeled down beside him.
"That would've hurt, you okay?" Asked Jay as he helped Lloyd stand up again. Jay was nearly twice Lloyd's height making Lloyd have to look up at him like he was the sun or a cloud.
"Yeah, I'm fine" was all Lloyd said. Hey
"Hey, you know if you wanted, you and I could go out and train on the deck, after lunch of course" said Jay getting a small smile from Lloyd. Lloyd really just wanted to get out if this medical room.
"Really?" Asked Lloyd, Jay smiled and nodded back.
"But you have to come out and have lunch with me, my teammates, Nya and sensei Wu" said Jay, breaking the small smile on the boy's face. 'why doesn't he want to come out and eat with us?' Questioned Jay in his mind.
"Fine" Lloyd agreed, Jay then lead Lloyd down the hallway to the dinning room and food.

As Jay and Lloyd walked into the room Kai, Zane, Cole, Nya and sensei Wu turned their attention towards Lloyd. With everyone staring at him, he slowly stepped behind Jay, he didn't really like everyone staring at him it's too unnerving.
"Hey Lloyd, good to see you're up and ready to have lunch with us" said Kai as he watched Jay walk over to sit down with Lloyd sitting next to him.
"Yeah" said Lloyd
"Hi Lloyd, my names Nya, I was away so I didn't get to meet you earlier." said Nya holding out her hand for Lloyd to shake and he did. Nya nearly gasped at how cold and small his hand was but stopped herself.
"Lloyd how are you feeling?" Asked sensei Wu
"I feel like I could pass out at any moment but I haven't yet, I'm fine" Lloyd said honestly, as Jay placed a plate in front of him, on the plate was a simple chicken and lettuce sandwich. As everyone started eating Lloyd found he didn't have an appetite- especially with these people, so he just stared at his sandwich.
"You know maybe if you stare at it for long enough it'll disappear" joked Cole as he stopped eating and noticed the boy before him not even touching the sandwich.
"Lloyd you should eat, you don't eat much of the other food we give you and you need to keep up your strength and nutrition." Informed Zane as he also stopped eating. Lloyd continued to stare at his sandwich before he picked it up with both of his small hands and took a small bite. It was nice and the tastes weren't overwhelming as he'd imagined they would be, so he kept eating it and the others continued finishing theirs.

"Thanks Nya for the food, you ready to go Lloyd?" Asked Jay as he stood up and turned his gaze to Lloyd who quickly jumped up from his seat, clearly ready for some time out of the medical bay.
"Where are you going Jay and Lloyd?" Asked sensei Wu as Jay started walking with Lloyd towards the door.
"I said Lloyd and I could do some training sort of games to convince him to come out and have lunch with us" said Jay as he grabbed Lloyd's hand and they both ducked up to the training area.
"Bad idea" said Cole, though he stayed in his seat, calmly watching as the other two left.
"We should go keep an eye on them, sensei don't worry" said Zane as Kai, Cole and himself all followed after the two boys.

When Zane, Cole and Kai got to the training area they heard Jay just finishing off his sentence. "-Now, show me what you can do Lloyd" said Jay as Lloyd started doing backflips, handstand and cartwheels.
"Good, can you do any hand to hand combat?" asked Jay as Zane, Cole and Kai stood off to the side watching.
"I never really leant any of that I don't like fighting." said Lloyd
'How is this kid lord Garmadon's son, he's so a complete opposite of everything that guy stands for' thought Jay before continuing to talk to Lloyd.

Zane, Cole and Kai watched from the side lines as Jay tried to teach Lloyd hand to hand combat.
"Jay you're doing it wrong, please step aside" said Cole as he pushed Jay to the side and started showing Lloyd his 'skills'.
"Now, you see Lloyd you need an actual ninja to teach you hand to hand combat" he explained as he looked at the emerald eyes taking in the moves and skills.
"Cole I think Lloyd needs to learn how to fight, not how to show off" said Kai taking Coles spot and doing spinjitzu in front of Lloyd.
"Wow that's cool" said Lloyd in complete ah
"Can you all teach me how to fight?" Asked Lloyd, seeming to change his tone from his original stance on fighting, as he jumped on the spot and was now looking at all four of the boys.
"Sure" they all said at once, one by one they taught Lloyd for the rest of the day.
