Lloyd A Different Beginning [ON HOLD]

16. Maybe later, if ever

COLE's Pov

One month

Four weeks

Thirty days

All in all that meant a month. That's how long Lloyd's been in a self induced coma. He hasn't moved or even woken since it happened. Even worse medication doesn't even help, it's a self induced coma. It's like a deep unconsciousness, and it's up to Lloyd when and if he ever wakes up. I know he's not the strongest kid, but if this continues he'll die.

"We can't lose him" as I spoke I didn't notice that I wasn't alone. Everyone was there, Kai, Jay, Zane, Sensei, Nya and you could even hear the occasional roar of Blue dust outside. At what I had said everyone went silent, guilt meet us all but had also left us everyday. Leaving us like Lloyd might.
"Why don't you all go out for a breath of fresh air, go around the city for awhile" said Nya trying her hardest to change the subject.
I looked to her and agreed, we weren't doing any good here.
"Come on the museum has a new exhibition, let's go see what's it like" I said standing from my seat and nodding to Nya. Everyone slowly looked to me and after a short amount of time agreed. It would be a great idea to get outside and go get our minds off the kid.

This was a terrible idea, mostly because it was boring.
"I'm bored" wined Jay dragging on behind us as we all walked around the museum.
"I have to agree with blue over there, this is extremely boring" I said in replay to voice my opinion.
"Sensei could we please go on a little faster" said Kai as he looked at another boring stand with a rock on it.
"Kai do step away from the Rock and come over here" said sensei ignoring our complaints about the experience.

Kai looked back at sensei and placed an elbow on the stand. This is when I saw everything go in slow motion.

Kai you idiot.

Kai's elbow knocked the unprotected rock off its stand and to the ground. A huge thump was heard as the rock fell to the ground, luckily it didn't break.

"Kai!" We all yelled as we turned to the hot head.

"Oh no, please step away from the 'crystal stone' please" said a voice behind us. I looked back to see an older looking woman with grey hair and a couple of completely white streaks through her hair. Her hair was in a braid and she wore an old sense of fashion but it resembled an adventurer.

"I must apologise for my brother he can be extremely clumsy sometimes, we are all very sorry" said Zane giving the woman a nod in apology.
"Uh it's fine now, just do please be careful" she said moving to pick up the rock-stone and placing it back on the stand.
"Misako..." Said sensei slowly.
The woman's head rose and she looked to sensei Wu in awe.
"Wu..." She replied, as she spoke she sounded as if she were in a daydream state.
Did she know Wu, and if so where from.

"It's good to see you again Wu"
"As to you, it's been too long" Sensei started small talk with this Misako woman, but as they continued we all shared looks of confusion. Finally Jay took it into his own hands and asked the question we were all asking.

"Uh sensei care to tell us who this woman is" said Jay not rudely but not politely either.

"Right, ninja this is Misako...she is Lloyd's mother" said Wu speaking in hesitation but coming out with it in the end.

What, wait that's Lloyd's mum, mother, parent.
Garmadon's wife.
"Huh?" Jay spoke again and again for us all.

"Wait so your Lloyd's mother" I said stepping forward. I noticed her eyes and indeed they were a shade of green just like Lloyd's.
"Yes Lloyd is my son, do you know him" she spoke in thought but still spoke, as if she were remembering a memory.
"Yeah, we know him" replied Kai sadly looking down to the floor as we all followed the movement.
"Has something happened, is he okay" she questioned this time looking worried. For a woman who abandoned her child to an evil primary school she really did look like she was worried and cared.

"He's in a self induced coma" said Jay as soon as he spoke all eyes darted to him and he ducked his head deeper.

"-and he hasn't woken up since, but Garmadon and Samukai got away" finished Kai finally, he hadn't stopped once explaining what had happened and why.
"I never knew it would come this quickly, I thought at least another couple of years" said Misako to herself quietly while looking down.
"What are you talking about" I asked looking at her as her head shot up.
"I should explain it to you all when we arrive, later, after Lloyd wakes up"

she expected Lloyd to wake up.
But we had tried everything and nothing seemed to work. He was lost in a world of darkness with only a torch, and it is his decision to turn it on.
We walked down through the hallways and finally to the room Lloyd hadn't left in a month. Entering the room we found Nya dabbing a cold wet cloth over Lloyd's forehead.
"Your back" she said placing the cloth down on his head and standing up.
"Nya this is Misako, Lloyd's mother" I said watching Nya's expression at the new news. She seemed to watch Misako and I for a moment before the information came to mind.
Her mouth fell open the tiniest bit and she started to speak.
"Really?..." She said as to watched the woman in suspicion.

LLOYD's Pov

It was dark, again. I moved to hands but found that everything felt heavy, too heavy. Why would my arms be this heavy?

"Hello?" I called out around the darkness. The area moved and a kind of door formed to my left.
Kai, he came walking through the door but when he did he walked right pasted me. Then another door opened to the right and Kai continued to walk in that direction.
"Kai wait!" I yelled after him but he didn't even notice my call. I went to stand up and follow him but found I couldn't move from where I was.
Where Kai had entered, the opening opened again this time Zane walked through.
"Zane help me I can't get up" said called pleadingly but as my sentence finished the opening Kai had left through opened again. And just as Kai had done, Zane walked through the door before it closed again and I was left to the darkness.
"What's going on?" I quietly said looking down at my body seeing no chains or ropes.
"Why can't a move, why is everyone leaving me" looking to the openings to see they were closed before I closed my eyes slowly.
"why am I alone"

"If you try, you can make it" the sudden voice was peaceful slow and relaxed. The voice had seemingly come from nowhere and as far as I could see there was nobody here except me.
"If you try, you can make it" said the voice again repeating what was just said.
"Try what?!" I yelled to the darkness
"Be free" the voice was calming, but the fact that he/she was seemingly talking in riddles was annoying.
"Be free from what?"
"your mind"
Now this is just stupid, 'be free from you mind' it's your mind how would you even do that.
"Your not making any sense!"
"You are confined only by the walls you build yourself"

KAI's Pov

Finally Misako had gone out with Nya to get some food and tea. Sensei had gone back to his room to drink tea and meditate, and Zane and Jay had gone to play videos games just to distract themselves.

"Hey Cole, isn't it said that people in comas can still hear what's going on around them?"
"Yeah, why do you wanna talk to the kid"
"Well if he's there he'll be alone so maybe the voice of a couple of friends would help him wake up"
"...."
"Hey Lloyd don't know if you can hear this but, we're all here for you, waiting for you to wake up" said Kai taking a seat next to Lloyd's bed. Cole sighed before walking to the opposite side and taking a seat.
"Yeah kid, so wake up already" said Cole after which moving his eyes from Lloyd to Kai and nodding.
"Hey Lloyd your mums even here, she's worried about you"
