20. Flying From Sight

Nya's Pov

The video call with Kai ended suddenly and I couldn't help but be terrified for my brother, Cole, Jay and Zane.

"Sensei What are we going to do?!" I shouted as I spun around to face Lloyd's mother and Sensei.

"In this situation we must trust the ninja to escape on their own" Answered Sensei calmly as I felt ticklish drops of tears well up in my eyes.

"We can't just wait around, Send me I can help them!" I ordered as I noticed that my body was shaking and my knees were weak. My knees were weak, my legs were weak, my body was weak. I am weak.

"Nya" I looked to Misako as she rested a calming hand on my shoulder before she continued.

"Your brother will be fine, you will be fine and everyone will be back in no time" She spoke with such confidence that I couldn't help but believe in her words. They were coming back.

Lloyd's Pov

I felt my eyes open softly and my fingers start to move. My body was in pain for some reason, but I was awake. Finally.

I wanted to sit up, however I felt that I didn't even have the strength to lift my arm. Complete feeling in my hands finally returned and I worked on moving my toes, to my legs, to my arms. My body responded to my control and I was slowly able to sit.

"K-kai? C-cole? Zane? Jay" I regained my voice and my eyes searched the room for anyone.

I was alone, did they leave? Am I the only one left?

Slowly I moved my legs out of the bed and before I knew it I was standing at the side of the bed. I walked towards the door and pulled open the door. No one was outside but I could hear voices at the end of the corridor.

I started walking slowly, and soon I was running quietly through the hall and towards the voices. I held complete strength in my body already and I could feel energy flowing through my veins.

Coming to a stop I peeked around the doorway to see my uncle, Nya and another lady. Nya was crying and she just started speaking.

"We can't just wait around, Send me I can help them!" She yelled the tears continuing to fall down her cheeks. I wanted to rush in there and give her a hug, comfort her any way I could.

But the other lady beat me to it. She approached  Nya and placed her hand on Nya's shoulder before she spoke. Maybe she's Nya's mother.

"Nya your brother will be fine, you will be fine and everyone will be back in no time" What did she mean? 'everyone will be back in no time' wait that's why the bounty's so quiet. The ninja must be out on a mission.

Then why is Nya crying. I suddenly  noticed the computer screen, it was replaying a black mist holding up the ninja before trying to Samukai. Something was different, he was mostly covered in the same black mist and now had white mist covering his eyes.

"Spirit" I said quietly to myself. That thing that mocked me was hurting the ninja.

I quickly run away from the bridge and up to the deck. I needed to help the ninja, but how would I get there.

Suddenly the clouds surrounding the bounty were pushed out of the way as a huge black beast came flying through them.

"Blue Dust!" I shouted quietly as he came back down towards the bounty and waited for me to jump from the railing and onto his back.

I instantly climbed the railing and jumped across to BD and he started to fly away. I looked back to the bounty and was surprised to see no one out on the deck. I had just shouted and a dragon had just flown up to the bounty and not even an alarm.
