15. A change in colour p2

GARMADON's Pov

When Samukai brought his knife to Lloyd's throat I didn't know what to do. I can't hand over on greatest army yet over to a stick and a little kid. That's not how I do things.
Lloyd's emerald eyes fell on me and as soon as I saw his eyes I saw the fear, doubt and hope. Those green orbs held many more emotions but as Lloyd was pushed harder into Samukai's chest with the knife I still couldn't do it.
"You have a matter of seconds before I cut your little brats neck so deep he'll die instantly" said Samukai moving the knife again closer to Lloyd's throat but this time making a small slim cut on Lloyd's throat.
"no..." I spoke quietly as a tear ran down my sons face and onto his green hoodie.
I looked up to Lloyd's face again but this time when I did Lloyd's eyes had changed. The colour was the same but the meaning in them was different, somehow stronger.
"fine..." Said Lloyd in a quiet voice that was weak but still strong. For a minute nothing happened and Samukai continued to wait for my surrender.

But when Lloyd brought his hands together and a sudden glow started to grow between his hands.
"What!" Said Morro looking to his friend and then to me as if I was supposed to know what was happening. Lloyd's body began to shake and Samukai suddenly stood back and started to back away from my son. The light grew and a colour was now seen, green. The light that grew around Lloyd was green and as everything seemed to slow down the light grew bigger and bigger.

KAI's Pov

We made our way to the area of Ninjago city quietly as nobody spoke. I don't even know why everyone was being so quiet it just was.
"Uh guys I'm picking up a large energy reading on the outskirts of Ninjago city" said Jay slowly.
"We should check it out?" Questioned stated Zane as he looked at the rest of us.
"Sure lets go!" Said Cole as we all changed direction and headed to the outskirts of Ninjago city.
We were only a couple of metres away when Jay spoke up again.
"Guys there's a green light coming from ahead, we need to hurry" said Jay speeding up his jet as we followed his orders and sped up too.
"Oh no" said Jay faintly through the coms as we all arrived to see the whole snake army fleeing.
But what Jay said next shocked us all.
"It's Lloyd, he's glowing" we all came to a stop at the clearing and saw Garmadon standing across from Samukai and Morro, all of which had there eyes on a young boy with blonde hair and wearing a green hoodie.
"Lloyd" I said jumping out of my vehicle and running over with the others following me.
"What's going on!" Yelled Cole as he looked to anyone for an answer.

A sudden shot was fired towards Samukai and Morro but not actually hitting them, like a warning shot.
Lloyd's body suddenly fell to the ground but the light stayed around his body for a couple more moments before also disappearing.

As soon as I saw Lloyd laying there unmoving I ran over to him and kneeled down.
"Lloyd" I said trying to wake him up, he seems to have somehow knocked himself out.
"Kai bring Lloyd here" said a voice coming from somewhere behind me.

I turned and saw sensei waiting standing besides Zane. He had a worried expression written over his face and his eyes were frist in his brother and then turned to Lloyd and I. I was about to stand up and carry Lloyd over but Cole nodded to me and carried Lloyd for me. We both walked to sensei and he placed a hand first over the blondes forehead and then to the side of his neck.
"Jay can you please take Lloyd back to the bounty" said sensei noting that Lloyd would get back quicker if he flew, and Jay was the only one with a jet/plane.
Jay ran over and formed his jet before Cole passed the child over and Jay left in a cloud of dust.
"You can't take my son" said a strong voice behind me. We all turned to see Garmadon standing there with an angry expression.
"Brother you have done enough, please come back with us and turn to the light" said sensei taking multiple steps forward.
"I shall never, evil runs through my veins and all good was gone years ago" he said before suddenly disappearing from sight. I went to run in a direction to follow him but Zane placed his hand on my shoulder. Now wasn't the time.
"Deal with Morro and Samukai and then head back to the bounty" said sensei before he started to head back himself.
"Time to send the brat back to school" said Cole making a punching motion before standing closer to the two.

We arrived back at the bounty and headed straight to sensei.
"Where is Morro?" Questioned sensei with my sister by his side looking down at a map.
"We took him back to the Darkley's school for bad boys" answered Cole, he had wanted to send the kid to the underworld with Samukai but he had stopped him.
"And Samukai" my hands turned into fist be my side and I looked to Nya, remembering that day.
"He got away but either way he went back to the underworld" I answered moving forward one step.
"What about Lloyd, how is he?" Zane voiced my question before I had he chance. We all wanted to know how the kid was, but we all thought the worse when sensei didn't answer.
"Sensei please" I said stepping back besides Cole and Zane.
"We think he may be in a sort of self induced coma, he hasn't woken since" said a voice behind us but we all knew who it was, without having to turn around.
"Jay, how bad is it" I asked turning to him, he had a small couple of drops of blood on his gi, but he didn't seem to care.
"Pretty bad"
