Lloyd A Different Beginning [ON HOLD]

17. It's Not That Easy

LLOYD's Pov

"Hey Lloyd, don't know if you can hear this but, we're all here for you, waiting for you to wake up" the voice was muffled but I could hear it either way. That was Kai's voice I swear, but where was he.
"Kai.... Where are you, please help me I can't get out!" I yelled to the darkness again.

'You are confined only by the walls you build yourself'

The same quote making its way but into my head. But I don't get how that's supposed to help me. How do you break your own walls?

"Yeah kid, so wake up already" another voice spoke, but this time it was Cole. But what do they mean by 'wake up' they both said it. Does that mean I'm sleeping.
"Kai Cole I don't know how to wake up, please help me!" Again I tried to stand up and just like the previous attempts I failed.
"Hey Lloyd your mums even here, she's worried about you" as these words rolled through my head a word that was uncommon in my mind came to the surface.
"...mum..." I repeated the word over and over again. But every time I said it it still felt...

wrong.

It just wasn't supposed to be there, it never has.
"She's worried about you"
She's worried about me, does that mean she's really here.
"You can wake up" the voice spoke this time maybe for once not in riddles.
"How!?" I questioned the invisible voice again searching the room for the source but finding nothing.
"When you need them they are there for you, when they need you, you are there for them" and welcome back the riddles.
The voice was silent for a couple more moments of time before it began to speak again.

"Do you understand?" The voice asked a question but it didn't sound like a question more like a statement.
"Of course I do!..." I yelled back to the darkness but in return getting a small and short laugh.
"Children shouldn't lie" the voice stated sounding as if it were actually right behind me this time, but when I turned to check there was nothing there...only more darkness.
"I'm not a child! And doesn't that mean that it's ok for adults to lie" I shot back feeling proud of myself. I smiled to the quietness as I moved my eyes to search the area for a response.
"Everyone lies Lloyd, now answer my question do you understand" the voice spoke finally but this time with the strong use of my name.

"No" I said in defeat shifting my position from sitting up to lying down in my back.

The room stayed silent for minutes more and the voice had seemed to leave.

"Hello!" I yelled out searching again for the voice.

"Are you there?!" The voice had seemed to leave, why?

I just have to wake up, I have to try.
"Come on Lloyd, wake up I have to wake up" I called to myself standing up finally.

"Come on Lloyd!"

"Wake up!"

JAY's Pov

Everyone was either working or trying to do something to get theirs minds off Lloyd. I however wasn't trying to forget about him. I'm going to make sure he's safe, safe from his father.
I walked down the hallway and entered the sick bay room where I saw Lloyd's small frame resting.

He seemed peaceful. I grabbed one of the chairs and dragged it over to the side of his bed. It had kinda become his bed, he was here for so long.
I looked over the blonde noting that his hair looked a little dirty  and his hands still somehow had trances of dirt.

"Whaccci" the sudden noise made my head snap to Lloyd's mouth as it fell open before closing again.
"Lloyd?" I said moving even closer to the kid and looking for anymore signs of movement.
Lloyd's head turned from the left to the right slowly and his eyes started to flinch. I looked down his body and also noticed his fingers starting to move if only the slightest bit.

"Come on Lloyd come on you can do it, you can wake up!" I said edging him on even if he couldn't hear me I was going to try.
I soon noticed that I was also the only one here.
"Kai!" I yelled the first name that came to mind hoping that he would hear me.
I moved my eyes from the door and back to Lloyd.
His movement had slowed but he was still moving.

He was trying to wake up!

Footsteps made their way to my ears before the door was pushed open.
"Kai! He's waking up" I said as Kai jogged over to the other side of Lloyd's moving form.
"No way..." Said Kai slowly looking over the blonde in amazement.

LLOYD's Pov

I could hear Jays voice moving around me as I tried to wake up. I still couldn't get why I really had to wake up, but if they needed me to wake up I would.
"I won't let you down" I said continuing to try and 'wake up'.
For some reason I only now noticed how dreamlike everything felt here. Maybe I really was in a dream.
That's why they'd want me to wake up, that's why my mother would come back.

Only took her till I'm in a  dreamlike state to come back.

I started to hear another voice and as I noticed who it was a sudden weight pushed me back down.
I fell to the ground my head smashed against the ground, I gave out a yell in pain.
I tried to move while holding my head, I had to wake up.
I had to wake up now.
I pushed myself up into a sitting position but after that I fell back having my head push against the motion.

"Please..." I have a silent cry continuing to try and 'wake up' but now every time failing before falling back.

JAY's Pov

The blonde was moving and Kai and I were both shocked but helping in anyway we could.
"Come on Lloyd" repeated Kai this time with one of his hands on Lloyd's upper arm.

Suddenly Lloyd's body stopped moving. He froze completely still. But as we became silent Lloyd let out a cry of pain causing Kai to remove his hand in thought that he was hurting the blonde.
"Lloyd?" I questioned walking closer to him, only to get no reply. Only silence filled the room as the child's form stayed unmoving again, as it had only been mer minutes ago.

Why didn't he wake up?

Why would he stop trying?

Lloyd would never give up.
Never.

Yay, so sorry for the slow update.
Life has had it out for me lately, trying constantly to be rid of my Wattpad life.
