Lloyd A Different Beginning [ON HOLD]

10. After Effect

Lloyd walked towards the door and exited the building. It was around two in the morning, and he couldn't sleep. Not after what had happened nearly a day ago.

*FLASHBACK*

"Why are we here?" Questioned Lloyd as he slowly started to make his way closer to the temple. As lloyd made his way to the front doors the temple started to spilt in two as if it had been cut in half by a knife from the sky.
When the temple finished opening blue dust entered making sure lloyd was behind and following him.
"Wow this place is huge" said Lloyd in ahh as he followed his dragon.
They both continued into the temple, walking down a dark staircase leading to even more darkness.
"This place is super creepy and dark!" Said Lloyd staying close to blue dust but also loving it as he continued walking. The staircase went further down before finally a small purple grow started hitting the staircase. Blue dust slowed down the tiniest bit with Lloyd only wanting to get closer to the light.
The stairway ended and blue dust and Lloyd appeared in a large purple lit cave.
"Cool" said Lloyd walking ahead of his dragon and making his way into unknown territory.
Blue dust sensing danger moved forward and stopped Lloyd from going any further. Blue dust pushed the child behind a rock pile while he blended in to the pile using his grey and black body. 
Footsteps were heard coming towards the two along with chatting.
"-purple spiders should drop from the roof with red and pink dragons and-"
"Your an idiot Dragons don't exist and why would they be pink!"
Two skeletons walked past the two and continued walking through the cave, out of blue dust and Lloyds sight and ear range. 
"Cool" said Lloyd again in a whisper looking towards where the skeletons had left before turning to blue dust.
"I've never seen a skeleton before, they look pretty awesome" said Lloyd coming out from behind the rocks.

After seeing the skeletons disappear from sight Blue dust turned back towards where Lloyd and blue dust had entered. Blue dust gave a light push at Lloyd getting lloyd to turn around and notice where the dragon wanted to go.
"Wait you want to leave?" Said Lloyd strongly confused as to the dragons thoughts. Blue dust nodded and started heading back the way they had come. And with a sigh from Lloyd, Lloyd followed.

"I don't get way we're leaving, it's not like we were in danger. Though skeletons would be hard to beat because they have no real weak points"said Lloyd in thought as they came to the entrance of the cave and soon the light.

*FLASHBACK*

Lloyd continued to think as he sat outside on the deck of the destiny bounty. He had still wanted to know what was really in that cave other then skeletons. Maybe there wasn't anything else there.
"You look very in thought" said a voice behind Lloyd, making him jump.
Lloyd turned around and saw Kai standing looking down at him.
"Uh, yeah I w-was"
"Why are you up, you didn't get enough sleep last night"
"I couldn't sleep"
"Then wake me, I'll help you" said Kai finally taking a seat next to Lloyd and looking at the stars.

"Why are you awake?" Asked Lloyd turning to see Kai was looking at him closely, as if he were under investigation.
"I woke up, not sure why but I did and I saw you weren't in bed-"Kai stopped and took in a deep breathe before continuing
"I thought something bad might have happened, so I got up to looked around for you"
Lloyd turned his gaze away from Kai and looked back up at the stars.

"Thanks" said Lloyd after awhile of silence
"No problem little bro" said Kai giving a ruffle of Lloyds hair and smiling at him. Lloyd smiled back.
'He called me bro brother' thought lloyd surprised at the event that had just happened.
"Come on let's try get some sleep" said Kai standing up and holding out his hand to help Lloyd up.

Skip to midday
(Cause who really wants me to describe their sleeping habits)

KAI's Pov

The sky was clear blue with a couple of odd clouds and the sun was out but not burning.
"Seems like a good day" I said to Zane whom I was training with.
"Yes it is a peaceful day, it is supposed to rain later today though" said Zane as I noticed Cole and Jay stoping their training and walking towards Zane and I.

"We aren't supposed to stop training till sensei and lloyd get back" I said as they came to a stop in front of Zane and I.
"Guys Cole and I have been talking about Lloyd, would it be safer for Lloyd to be with his father?" Said Jay speaking quietly with his head looking down.
I had to think for a bit, maybe he was right Garmadon wouldn't hurt his own son and here we are placing him in more danger then needed.

"Ninja why have you stopped training?" My head shot up to see sensei Wu standing with Lloyd by his side holding what looked like two very heavy bags.
"Sensei, we are talking about learning to control our tornado of creation better and trying to understand the ways our minds think while doing it" said Zane saving us. Sensei nodded and started to walk away while Lloyd look at each of us with a watchful eye. He doesn't believe us.

"Lloyd hurry up Nya would like some help with dinner!" Called sensei coursing Lloyd to look towards his uncle and run off, still handling the two bags.

"We should go somewhere more private" said Cole moving towards the door back inside.
"We will continue this in our room" said Zane as Cole, Jay and Zane headed towards our room.
"Come on hot head we don't have all day" said Jay stopping to wait for me. I ran forward and we all made our way towards our room.

LLOYD's Pov

When uncle and I arrived back on the bounty we both heard the ninja talking. I thought I heard my name but when uncle asked what they were doing they all got nervous, I have to say Zane did a pretty good cover up... I think.

"LLOYD!" I heard a smashing and then looking up noticed that I was supposed to be carrying a plate. That plate was now on the ground, broken.
"Lloyd what are you doing, I told you not to get distracted" whined Nya as she placed a tray in the oven before walking towards me with a broom.
"I'm sorry Nya" I said unsure of what I was supposed to be doing now.
"Lloyd go get the ninja, tell them dinner is nearly ready" said my uncle nodding as I left the room. The hallway was quiet, but I could hear small whispers coming from the room of the ninja.
"Lloyds been in danger since he came here"
"He wouldn't even be in danger if he hadn't meet us"
"We all no that's not true Jay"
"But it is true that Lloyd was in less danger when he was not with us"
"Yeah but before he met us he was on the street fleeing a school"
"Garmadon doesn't want us near lloyd..."
"Maybe the kid would be safer with Gramadon"
"Are you craz-"
"Face it the kid would be safer and happier with his father"

The room went quiet, I leaned closer to the door to find out if maybe they were all just whispering. But I still heard nothing. The whole bounty was quiet, I couldn't even hear Nya cooking, uncle talking or the ninja's conversation.
I guess their conversation is ove-
"Lloyd needs to go to his father, he's not our kid and maybe having a kid around would make Garmadon stop his evil ways" as soon as I heard that I got up and ran away heading towards my room.
The ninja are going to hand me over to my father.

How could they!
