Lloyd A Different Beginning [ON HOLD]

8. The name of a Dragon

Lloyd had fallen asleep while still flying the black dragon two hours ago.

But now he awoke to a start as he felt warmth flood his body.

Lloyd looked up and around to find that he was lying on the ground on the edge of a mountain. Lloyd turned his attention to the warmth that had awoken him to find the dragon breathing fire into a small pit to keep Lloyd warm. Lloyd stood up and walked over to the dragon and started to pat him lightly.
"Hey how about I give you a name!" Said Lloyd excitingly nearly jumping up and down, the dragon turned its huge head to the side to stare at Lloyd before nodding.
"You must be a really smart dragon to be able to understand what I'm saying" said Lloyd looking into the grey-ish blue eyes of the dragon.
"How about blue dust" said Lloyd as he waited for the dragon to agree or to disagree.
"Blue for your eyes and dust for the way you fly so fast leaving dust behind" continued Lloyd as he saw a nod come from the dragon as it landed its head down to the ground and rested.
"good night blue dust" said Lloyd lying down next to the black beast and leaning against him.

"BOYS WE'VE FOUND GARMADON!" Yelled Nya as the ninja finished their breakfast.
"Finally" said Jay rushing up from his seat and making his way to the bridge with his teammates following him.
"Garmadon and the snake tribes have been spotted on the edge of a forest near a mountain by the falcon" said Nya showing the screen to the ninja as they entered.
"But i don't see Lloyd" said Kai looking away from the screen to his sister.
"That's the problem the falcon has been circling the area for awhile and there has been no sign of Lloyd" continued Nya
"Well we have to go see Garmadon and find out where they're keeping the kid" said Cole doing spinjitzu and changing into his ninja uniform.
"Let's go" said Kai as they all changed and left the bounty to find their newest and youngest brother.

Lloyd sat up slowly leaning away from blue dust before then standing up as the dragon awoke and starched his neck.
"Come on blue dust we have to find my friends" said Lloyd walking back up to the side of blue dust and climbing into his back again.
The dragon cautiously made its way over to the edge of the mountain ledge and searched the skies before rising and flying off.
Lloyd took in a breath as the dragon flew up into the air. taking his glaze from the morning sky Lloyd looked down towards the ground and forest, to see one of the snake tribes and his father staring at him and the dragon.
"Lloyd!" He heard his father yell from the ground before Lloyd lost all sight of them as the clouds run around him.

"Lord Garmadon sssir that wasss the dragon and your sssson wassssn't it ssssir" said a snake
"Yes now hunt down that dragon!" Screamed Garmadon ordering the other snakes.
"Yesssss ssir"

The bounty was only three quarters of the way there and Jay had gone outside to 'take a breath'.
"Jay are you worried?" Asked Zane walking up to Jay and leaning on the bounty railing.
"About lloyd yeah" said Jay before he continued.
"It's weird we've all only known lloyd for a bit more than a week or so and yet we all feel as if he has always been our brother"
"We all value Lloyd" said Zane placing a hand on jays shoulder.
"Ye-WHAT IS THAT!" Yelled Jay as a black figure made its way through the clouds and towards the bounty.
"I believe that is a dragon Jay" said Zane as if seeing a dragon flying towards you was normal.
"Is that a dragon!" Said Cole as he and Kai walked into the deck with Cole now hiding behind Kai.
"Look guys there's someone on the dragon" said Kai moving towards the edge of the bounty.
"W-wait is that who I think it is" said Jay as the dragon came right up to the side of the bounty.
"LLOYD!" yelled all the ninja as lloyd came into view smiling.
"Hey guys" said lloyd coming a couple of metres away from the bounty.
"Lloyd your safe, how did you get away from your dad" asked Kai
"Blue dust helped me" said Lloyd as the dragon started circling the bounty finding it harder to keep still.
"If you name the dragon you'll get attached to the dragon" said Jay
"Kid I don't know about having a pet dragon" said Cole still mostly behind Kai.
"Guys we used to have a dragon each" said Kai
"Yeah but their gone and have been for awhile" said Zane
"I don't care what anyone else says I'm not leaving blue dust!" Said Lloyd stubbly as he then saw his uncle walking into the deck.
"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon what are you doing" said sensei Wu sternly making his way towards lloyd and blue dust.
"Montgomery? That's lloyds middle name wow" said Jay
"Uh hey uncle I got away from my father" said Lloyd nervously as he finally jumped off blue dust and onto the bounty.
"You had me worried sick" said Wu kneeling down to lloyds height and placing two hands in his shoulders.
"I'm sorry uncle, oh right my father and the snake army are down there trying to get me and blue dust back" said Lloyd motioning towards the ground.
"Well then let's go kick some butt" said Cole
"They took our youngest brother" said Kai
"Now it's payback" continued Zane
The ninja were all about to jump off the bounty to fight the serpentine generals and lord Garmadon when their sensei cut in.
"Not today ninja we don't start fights that don't need to be started" stated sensei Wu standing at his full height with one hand still on Lloyds shoulder.
"But sensei, Garmadon already started the fight by taking lloyd" said Kai
"Yeah sensei we have to give some hurt to Garmadon and the snake generals" said Jay taking a step towards lloyd and sensei.
"No you will all stay here and protect Lloyd" said sensei Wu before turning around and leading lloyd to the bridge where Nya was flying the bounty away from all and any snakes or lords of darkness.

I hope this chapter wasn't to rushed and sorry if it got confusing at any point. hope you liked it and I was really trying to update.

Also if anyone thinks I should change the name of the dragon please tell me a different name. Because I'm not all that fond of the name.

Also my updates might become I bit slower because I've started writing (yet another) another book (that isn't published yet) and I've been switching between the two and school and homework and other Wattpad books and stup'd LIFE keeps getting in the way.
