The girl who was no more.

It was a Wednesday, the middle of the week when the whole school received the news. It was not only heartbreaking for everyone but was extremely shocking.

Only when it happened did people realise what had happened. The nicest and the most cheerful person probably in the whole school Died.

She committed suicide.

The sudden silence from her, the random absence. The acts of attention as people spoke about, her humour the way she covered it all made more sense only after she died.

Nobody knows what was really going on in her head. The girl who was running down the hallways with the fake narcissistic drama that became her signature personality just killed herself.

People called her a nutcase. She wasn't tho, people were just too dumb to understand it.

The smart topper who was always ready to help everyone, the one who would turn in her projects so early that even the teacher would be surprised, was dead.

What was her crime?

Everyone body-shamed her, called her ugly, dumb, arrogant, rude and useless even though she was the exact opposite.

Just because she didn't react doesn't mean it was a joke for her too.

I was curious. I saw posters all around mourning her death. Flowers on her desk. For what it was worth, she deserved all this love when she was alive.

It was still a mystery what really happened. People made guesses but they were all guesses. She was popular for laughing off all the insults people threw at her while also defending others with everything she had.

She was kind and she was fierce. She was water and she was fire. She was so much but right now she was just dead.

I still couldn't believe it.
She was dead.

The last time I saw her was a day before yesterday. When she was taking the subway back home, we lived closer by. I saw her everyday but never really talked to her let alone say I was close.

We did talk, long long ago.

She lied to everyone that she had to be somewhere and took the subway alone without others. She gave her seat to a man who was dozing off and gave a child her pink bracelet.

I should have known. People don't randomly go around giving their prized possession, she was already being driven to the edge. Something just gave the end push.

I walked down the hallways entering the classroom. She sat on the 3rd bench, the middle row. Literally the seat in the middle of the classroom which was covered in chrysanthemum now.

So much love, so much care only when she died.

Her 4 friends stood there wiping their tears. 3 girls and a boy.

Da Hye, Jihye, lina and Ryung were grouped in a corner in each other's company but quite.

So they have no idea what they did to her. Was I the only one who saw what was happening to her? She was everyone's friend. Who was her's?

The homeroom teacher entered the classroom and he first looked at the bench. The only one who respected him in this whole class was her. She was the one who wished him morning, paid attention to his class and defended him as a student.

He was quiet young and others barely cared about respecting him. He looked sad and hurt, his eyes were only on the desk. When everyone noticed him, they went back to their seats.

He coughed and then looked up. "The school has received the news of Kim Ju Won , her memorial ceremony will be held at the seon memorial hall day after tomorrow on Thursday 9pm onwards. With that today's notice comes to an end. I hope everyone is studying for exams" he gave the news and turned around.

He was crying.
The class was down.

There were no sassy comments, no jokes, no laughter because the source of it all was gone.

She was friends with everyone, as a result everyone was down. As if she killed the joy alongside herself.

There were so many gossips, rumours about how she died and why died.

Some said, she cut her wrist, some said she hung herself and some said she jumped off the building.

We just knew she died. We didn't know how?

She was there in school one day, the next day she wasn't and a day later the whole school found out she had died.

The silence was so loud, it was scary. I was looking outside the window when I heard someone call me.

"Jungkook" I looked up and it was the dean's assistant.

"You are required in the dean's office"

Now what did I do? I don't remember getting into a fight, threatening anyone or hurting anyone.
