....Angel?

You fell asleep in his arms and he cuddled you. You honestly grew on him, but you were still quite mean to him. You were someone who could take on a lot of flirting and not get flustered. As you slept in his arms, he brought a hand up to your face and cupped it, admiring you and slowly falling in love with you.

You woke up after an hour or so, and you saw Dogday cuddled up to you and squeezing you every minute or so. He was having a nightmare. Probably about losing you. He was afraid of losing you.

Y/n: "Dogday?"

He didn't even respond to you. He grabbed onto one of your arms and you tensed up on instinct, flexing your muscles underneath his hand. You sighed and took his hand off, only for him to accidentally grab onto your abs. He seemed to soften up at the touch and he didn't seem like he was having a nightmare.

When he woke up, he saw you out of his arms. In fact, no one else was there. He heard some grunts and fighting noises in an area nearby, and he quickly ran to the noise, only to find you fighting Catnap with your charged green hand receiver. Catnap kept falling to the floor when he was attacked, but he immediately got back up and continued attacking you.

You had multiple scratches, scars and bruises all over you, and you even had a bleeding scar over your eye. You were panting, but you refused to give up. All the other Smiling Critters were trying to help you, hitting Catnap around his body with some sort of weapon. That's what kept you going. The fact they didn't abandon you when there was danger.

Dogday quickly ran over to Catnap and clawed at him. He hit Catnap in the face in the exact moment you fired a charged green hand receiver, and it caused him to screech in pain and fall to the floor, no longer bothering to get up.

Y/n: "Guys b-back off... We don't know if he's tricking us or not..."

You were breathing heavy. You fell to the floor, letting out a small groan in pain. Dogday picked you up in bridal style and stared at Catnap, afraid he'll attack you again.

You forced yourself out of Dogdays arms and slowly went over to Catnap. Catnap wasn't in that bony, scary form. He was just in the normal big one. You sat by him and patted his head, making him purr and wrap his tail around one of your arms (NOT SHIPPING). 

This made Dogday jealous, and he didn't bother hiding it. He had an angry expression on his face, and even had his arms crossed. 

After a while of petting, you collapsed on the floor and you laid motionless. Probably from all that blood loss.

Both Dogday and Catnap looked over at you in worry. Catnap even stopped purring.

Dogday: "....Angel?"
