Tanya couldn't believe that whatever had happened with her today was for real and not some vague dream. All the way back to her hostel all she ranted about was how Jahaan took her name and how he approached her and spoke to her and even returned her book. Even after reaching her hostel, she continued to rant about Jahaan all the time.

Getting frustrated from her excessive blabbering, Illahi yelled, "Do you plan on sleeping tonight or not? Will you keep chanting his name all night long? If you wish to do so please leave the room because I plan on having a sound sleep tonight."
Listening to Illahi get all furious, Tanya responded "Well sorry, go to sleep I won't rant about him anymore."

After hearing her, illahi pulled the sheet over her head and turned the other way. When one is not experiencing the feeling of love it is easy for the one to fall asleep instantly unlike the one going through it.
Despite lying down for so long, Tanya wasn't able to sleep. It seemed her sleep had almost vanished from her eyes. She looked at Illahi who was sleeping soundly.
"Should I wake Illahi up? No, maybe I shouldn't. She moved all over the campus with me today and must be tired. But what else should I do? I can't fall asleep," Tanya whispered to herself.
Tanya started laughing softly thinking about her thoughts. As soon as she tried closing her eyes all she could picture was Jahaan handing over the book to her.
"After all what should I do to have a good impression on him, I anyway ruined my first impression on the very first day itself. I somehow have to become good friends with him from now on but I don't know anything about him except his name and the fact that he is a topper," Tanya mumbled to herself.
Troubled by such questions revolving in her head, she turned towards the other side and picked her phone placed on the table beside her side of the bed.
Looking at the phone, an idea popped up in her head, "How can I ever forget? This is the 21st century it's not that hard to find people. Let me find his profile on Facebook. I'm sure I'll be able to find out something about him through it."
Pleased with herself Tanya picked up her phone and pulled it under her duvet. She searched for his profile on Facebook and was blown away to find the result. The account stated that he loved traveling and had been to beautiful places during the holidays. There were photos of him in Thailand, Germany, Europe, and Switzerland. Tanya couldn't believe the fantastic lifestyle that Jahaan lived.
"Haha and then there's me who has never gone beyond the market in California. Just coming to California itself made me feel like a foreigner and he on the other hand has traveled to so many places. How can Jahaan , a boy who loves traveling abroad, and me, just a simple
small-town girl ever land up together? What am I even thinking?" She thought to herself.
Tanya then closed her eyes and decided on falling asleep without sending him a request.

The next morning, Tanya woke up with swollen eyes. Seeing her Illahi couldn't refrain from laughing so Tanya finally told her, "So, it looks like you didn't get to sleep properly at night? What's the matter? Why do you seem to have such a disheartened face?"
Without even saying anything, Tanya unlocked her phone and searched for Jahaan's profile, and placed the phone in front of Illahi 's eyes. Illahi was amused to see his profile. She lost her senses too.

"Wow, this guy turned out to be better than what I expected of him. He looks like a model in all of his pictures," illahi remarked. Seeing her praise him, Tanya replied, "I'm not showing you his profile to praise him but to be sad over my luck."
"But what's so bad about this?" illahi replied...

Tanya took her over to sit on the couch and explained.
"You just spoke about how cool he was? So how can this cool guy ever fall for a girl like me?" Tanya stated. Hearing her, Illahi lovingly gave her a tight hug and said, "Don't you dare compare yourself to anyone like this. And before even jumping to such conclusions what do you even know about Jahaan except what you've seen on Facebook? You don't know who he is, neither do you know what his family background is. You don't even know his taste, so how can you jump to such conclusions? See Tanya , everything is not always about Jahaan ." saying this illahi gets up from the couch.
