On Sunday morning, Tanya  and Illahi  got ready and reached the college gate, where Jordan  had come to pick them up from his car. While towards the mall they came across Jahaan 's house which was on their way to the mall pointing towards the house Jordan  stated, " This villa that you see, this is  jahaan's house." Looking towards the house tanya  and Illahi  were spellbound. Jahaan's house was huge and appeared luxurious. One could call it a mansion. A big entryway which was bigger than their college gate, A wide garden which was well maintained, a big swimming pool, a running track, and a flock of cars could be seen within the four walls of the house.

Seeing Jahaan 's house and realizing how rich he was, left tanya  and Illahi 's mouth agape. Registering the luxuries of Jahaan 's house they moved ahead and reached the mall. All three of them had a great time and they shopped well. After this, Jordan  dropped them back to college.

The date for the Freshers party was almost near and the preparations of the three of them were also completed. A day before the party, Tanya  was coming back after getting her assignments printed. Suddenly her eyes fell on Jahaan  who was sitting on one of the benches in the garden and was working on his laptop. Seeing him, Tanya  felt curious and walked up to him. She wanted to have a closer look at Jahaan  and also was inquisitive to know what he was doing. She went closer and sat beside him.

"He didn't even notice me. I would have to find some excuse to start a conversation" thought Tanya  feeling shy. She soon noticed Jahaan  engrossed in working on an assignment and she immediately shoved out a paper and moved it towards him.

"Hey... I needed help with one of the assignments. I am unable to understand how to go about it. Could you please help me?" She requested with a shy smile.

"Hey... Hi Tanya ... Of course," Jahaan  responded taking the assignment from her hand. He explained the assignment thoroughly to Tanya , However, tanya  was just lost in her thoughts checking him out.

She could not keep her eyes off him and continued to gaze at him with fondness.
She continued to live in her world of dreams while he explained when suddenly after completing the explanation jahaan  handed over the assignment to Tanya  and picked up his stuff to leave.

Watching him ready to leave, Tanya  interrupted immediately, " Thanks for the help. But what were you doing on your laptop, sitting here all alone?"
Tanya did not want to let go of this golden opportunity to interact as much as possible with Jahaan .
"Oh, that! I have a big seminar tomorrow," Saying this, he booked his tickets for San Francisco and then he put the laptop in the bag.

Hearing Jahaan 's words, the ground slipped from under Tanya's feet.

"What?? Seminar ? so tomorrow you're not coming for the fresher's party? , Tanya  thought.
"But tomorrow," she began to speak, but Tanya  had not even finished saying when Jahaan's  phone rang.

Jahaan  got up from the bench and replied, "Important call, I have to attend it,". And he left from there.

All of Tanya's dreams were shattered. "What? Does this mean Jahaan  won't come to the Freshers party tomorrow? If he goes to the seminar tomorrow, what about the party? I had prepared so much. This means everything went in vain. What do I do now? Illahi !, she might have gone back to the hostel too" she mumbled to herself.
Tanya  got upset and walked towards her hostel. When she reached the hostel, she saw illahi  lying on her bed wearing a sheet mask and doing something on her phone. Seeing illahi , tanya  stood at her place and started wailing loudly like a little girl.

Hearing her voice, illahi  sat up and looked at her and said, "What happened, who hit my Tanu ?"

Tanya came to Illahi  keeping all her belongings aside. She placed her head in her lap. "God has probably written your Tanya's faith with a black pen. How hard did I struggle to make all the necessary preparations for the party and what do I get in return? I have come to know that the person who I made all these efforts for, would be attending a seminar instead of marking his presence at the party," Tanya  expressed in a gloomy tone.
