I returned to the boys who were busy gaming, and my eyes quickly found Bill, seated on the couch. A smile played on my lips as I stood behind him. Gently, I draped my arms over his shoulders and whispered softly, "boo" in his ear. A slight grin formed on his lips, and I felt the warmth of his body beneath my hands.
My fingers skillfully moved to the controller he held firmly. Without hesitation, I took control, destroyed a few zombies for him, and achieved a quick victory. "Leave her be, she's back," Andreas exclaimed cheerfully.
While I was focused on the game, I hadn't noticed that Bill had stood up. Suddenly, I felt his strong arms around me as he pulled me onto his lap on the couch. My concentration vanished in an instant, but the blissful feeling of sitting on Bill's lap outweighed everything.
"You distracted me," I said, laughing as our eyes met. He grinned mischievously and planted a soft kiss on my forehead. "That was precisely the intention," he whispered teasingly.

We had divided into teams, and now I found myself on Georg's side for a match against Gustav and Andreas. Excitement filled the air as we prepared for the battle, and the atmosphere between Georg and me immediately became good again. It felt familiar and comforting, with a hint of mischief in our laughter.
Midway through our intense game, interrupted by the sound of exploding zombies and our own encouragements, Bill's phone suddenly rang. Without hesitation, he answered, putting Hans, their manager, on speakerphone. Georg had paused the game, and everyone looked curiously at Bill, wondering why the manager was calling at this late hour.
Bill greeted Hans on the other end of the line, but the atmosphere immediately became tense. "Why do I have to find out through the media that it's over between you and Alissa?" Hans' concerned voice sounded. I saw Bill blush as Hans continued to express his dissatisfaction.
"I'm reading here in an interview that she says it's over between you two. I'm supposed to know about something like that, right?" Hans continued. Bill quickly grabbed his phone and turned off the speaker before leaving the living room to speak with Hans in peace.
Tom shrugged and said, "Good thing David isn't our manager anymore, otherwise he'd get an earful now." A faint smile appeared on my face, but upon hearing David's name, I already felt a slight nervousness creeping in.
"Yeah, Hans will calm down," Gustav reassured.
"Can we continue playing?" Andreas asked excitedly. Georg pressed the button to resume the game, but I noticed that my concentration had vanished. "Elise!" Georg suddenly exclaimed, "Behind you!" But I was already standing up, handing the controller to Tom. "I'm going to check on Bill," I whispered as I made my way through the living room.
Once outside the living room, I headed towards Bill's bedroom. The sound of his voice mingled with the soft tones of the conversation he was having with Hans. I knocked gently on the door and opened it slowly, unsure if he wanted to be disturbed.
"Billy?" I asked softly as I peeked inside.
He gestured for me to come in and wrapped up the conversation with Hans. "Okay, sounds good, Hans. I'll see you tomorrow," Bill said, his voice calmer now that the business conversation was over. I sat down next to Bill on the bed and asked if everything was okay. Bill nodded and informed me, "I explained to Hans that we're back together. But he wants to talk to us tomorrow."
"Okay," I nodded understandingly. I wondered why Hans wanted a conversation with me present, but I decided to let it go for now. "Tomorrow also marks the start of rehearsals for our Humanoid tour," Bill continued, "so it's good timing that you can come along."
"Exciting," I said with a smile. Bill pulled me closer to him, and my heartbeat automatically sped up. His fingers gently stroked my face, and his lips drew nearer. We began to kiss, but soon we were interrupted by a distinct cough in the room.
Startled, we broke the kiss and saw Tom standing in the doorway. "Come on, Bill, we need to play against Gustav and Andreas," Tom called out, causing both of us to laugh at the unexpected interruption. "We're coming," Bill replied with a grin as he got up from the bed. A smile played on Bill's lips as he stood up. "Later," he whispered to me.
