For as long as you could remember Chan has always hated you. But you had no idea why. One day he just started being mean to you. You paid no attention to it at first until it really started to affect you. You hated him too. Only because of what he was doing to you.

You had met Chan through your friend Changbin. The moment Chan laid his eyes on you he immediately started hating you. It still never made sense to you. You had never done anything to him. You had never even met him before.

For Chan, this was your second time meeting. Chan knew who you were but you were in a different life. In his past life he knew you. You were lovers. But unfortunately you had betrayed him by killing him. Chan never understood why you did that to him.

You were both in love with each other so dearly. When Chan met you in this life he wasn't happy. He didn't want to become friends with you to then fall in love with you so you would betray him again. So he planned on hating you instead. And to make you suffer.

Changbin has always told you not to mind Chan. Changbin was Chan's only friend, so Changbin thought that's why Chan was acting that way. However, Chan came clean to him about it. Changbin thought he was joking and laughed about it. He stopped laughing seeing Chan's serious face.

He couldn't believe the only reason why he hated you was because of something you did in your past life. Changbin really wanted to tell you so you could understand but Chan forbade him from doing it. The three of you worked together which made things harder.

Changbin had once asked you if you were in love with Chan. His question always lingered in your head. But why would you fall in love with Chan? The person who hates you and makes you suffer. Sure, he was good-looking but he was the last person you'd want to fall in love with.

All Chanbin really wanted was for you and Chan to be friends or at least like each other. He wanted Chan to understand that what happened in his past life was in the past. The both of you were now living a new life and you could make new memories. Chan however, denied it.

You and Changbin sat at your desks, working away. Chan hadn't come into work yet. Changbin was worried and tried texting and calling him but he didn't answer. You chose to not intervene in it. It wasn't your problem anyway.

Chan was still in bed, sleeping. It was like he couldn't wake up. He was having a dream but it almost seemed like a nightmare. It was about his past life with you. He starts mumbling your name, still not able to wake up.

In his dream he saw himself with you. Remembering it, you had stabbed him from behind when he wasn't looking. He didn't understand how he was watching himself and you like this. He saw you were holding your hands behind your back. He looked and saw you holding a knife. It was the one you stabbed him with. You held the knife in front of you and you looked afraid. Almost as if you didn't want to stab him.

Then he sees his mother appear from behind you. His mother grabs the knife from you and immediately stabs him in the back. She then quickly runs away, leaving you standing there shocked with tears in your eyes. You hadn't killed him. His own mother did.

Chan jolted awake, sweating. He was breathing heavily too. He grabbed his phone to look at the time. He quickly got out of bed and got ready for work. He drove quickly to the office and when he made it inside Changbin immediately noticed him and went to him.

Changbin was about to speak but Chan walked away from him. Chan walked up to you, turning your chair so you're facing him. Before you could say anything Chan pulls you up and drags you away. Changbin starts following after the both of you, yelling. Chan took you into a room and locked the door so Changbin couldn't get inside. Changbin started banging on the door. You were pinned to the wall.

"Are you crazy? What are you doing?!" You glare at him.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, Y/n." He admits.

"Oh, now you're sorry. Well I don't forgive you! Let me go!"

"No. No. I'm not letting you go until you know the truth."

"What truth?"

You furrow your eyebrows wondering what he's exactly talking about. He suddenly uses his hand and covers your eyes. You saw darkness but before you knew it you were looking at your past life. You started freaking out wondering how this was possible. Unfortunately you couldn't get out of it. The same thing that happened in Chan's dream you were watching. As Chan removed his hands away from your eyes, tears fell down your face.

"I... I always thought you were the one that killed me. I didn't know that my own mother killed me and tried to make it seem like you were. Then again, mother never liked our relationship." Chan sighs.

You were speechless. You opened your mouth to try to say something but nothing came out. You were frozen in place. Chan stares at you, wanting to know how you're feeling but he can't get anything out of you. He then pulls you into his embrace, holding you tight. Even more tears fell down your face. He whispers tons of apologies as he kisses your face. When you finally feel yourself be pulled together you get yourself out of his embrace and stare at him.

"That's why you hated me? Because you thought I killed you in our past life?" Your voice cracks.

"Yes. I'm really sorry. I know you won't be able to forgive me. Especially after everything I've done to you."

"Does Changbin know?"

"Yes. He knows everything. He's been trying to get us to be friends or at least like each other."

"Tell her you love her!" Changbin shouts from behind the door.

Chan closes his eyes as he sighs. You hold back your laughter. He opens his eyes back up and cups your face, as you stare at him in the eyes.

"I fell in love with you in our first life and now I've fallen in love with you in this life." He stares down at your lips.

Before he can lean down and put his lips on yours you beat him to it. Your foreheads lean against each other as the kiss starts to quickly turn into a hot long kiss. Both of your hands made their way to the back of his neck. He strokes your cheek, deepening the kiss. When you both pull away to catch your breaths, you softly smile at him.

"I didn't ever think we'd be here, like this." He softly smiles.

"If we can get over our past, we can have a good future. Together."
