Sofia-
"What's high school like?" Tristan asks me nervously as Gabe comes to a stop in front of the school.
"It's calm, pretty easy." I respond. "You're smart. You'll be okay." I give him a reassuring smile as O grab my bag. "You picking us up?"
"Uh huh," Gabe grunts tiredly. "And after, i'm teaching you how to drive. Last time I wake up at 7 in the fucking morning to take you to school." He says grumpily as I unlock the door.
He's just crabby cause he missed breakfast and lattes, this morning.
"Thanks, Gabe." I flash him a smile, before the three of us climb out of his car.
Tristan and Cole walk on each side of me, and they almost remind me of bodyguards with how tense they both are.
"Relax," I laugh quietly. "You guys don't have to be so on guard, all the time."
"Yeah, we do." Cole mutters. "Mason said he'd shoot us in our top lip if we didn't protect you."
Shot in the upper lip...
Yeah, we're gonna have to talk about it his constant threats.
"Don't listen to him. He's just a grumpy man." I wave it off. "Office is this way, come on."

"I hate school."
I look up as Tristan and Cole sit down at the lunch table, both slouching and looking absolutely ruined.
"Should've ran while you could." Phoebe shrugs, putting a french in her mouth.
"That bad?" I ask with a frown, and Tristan turns to me with wide eyes.
"I already have four homework assignments. I don't even know how I got put into AP classes?"
Mason, that a-hole.
"You'll get it, don't worry." I assure him with a smile. I look at Cole, who is too busy with a book to be paying any attention to our conversation at the moment.
I don't blame him.
"So after school..." Phoebe trails off, a familiar mischievous look on her face.
That usually means she wants to do something she has no business doing.
I never agree, she's too crazy for her own good.
Her and Gabe together is absolute chaos, trust.
"Gabe and I are going to this strip mall in Miami. You guys wanna come?"
"A strip mall?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. "No way, where are you guys really going?"
"West Valley."
At this, both Tristan and Cole look up in alert.
"Mason said West Valley's dangerous. And Gabe loves causing trouble there, Phoebe. Are you sure?" I ask worriedly, but she just smiles widely.
"I am," She nods. "You guys joining, or what?" She looks at the three of us. I glance at Tristan and Cole, before back at Phoebe.
"Next time," I trail off quietly. "I have a new recipe to try tonight, anyways."
She just hums, shrugging and going back to her fries.

School ends a lot faster than I realize, and Phoebe drops us off since Gabe was suddenly MIA.
