as the clock strikes 3 am, the whole house was fast asleep.

most of them were laying on the floor of daishou's living room. the teen boys drank ed a little too much that evening and all passed out around 2.

everyone but daishou.

he sat outside, feet dipped in his pool. his tolerance for alcohol is quite high, so he was just a little tipsy from all the drinks.

daishou sighs, laying his back on the concrete floor. he dug in his pocket for his vape and took a hit out of it.

he doesn't like smoking or vaping but does it every once in a while to calm himself down.

he heard his backyard door open, and quickly turn to see who woke up.

"didn't expect a little rich boy like you to be smoking,"

daishou sighs in relief, "it's just you, bokuto."

bokuto nods while yawning his head and scratching his neck. he then took a seat next to daishou, legs splashing in the water.

"why are you up?" daishou ask.

"i could ask you the same question," bokuto shoots back, "not drunk or anything?"

daishou shook his head, "not really."

the two sat in silence. it wasn't an awkward silence but the atmosphere was somewhat dense, like both parties wanted to say something.

after a good minute passed by, bokuto spoke up first. "hey, so... what's your opinion on kuroo?"

"what do you mean?"

bokuto clicks his tongue, "you know what i mean, daishou. come on, you're not stupid."

daishou pressed his lips in a thin line and shrugs. "i don't know, he's just... confusing and it's been pissing me off."

"you like him?"

silence fell in the air again but honestly, that was enough to answer bokuto's question.

personally, bokuto doesn't like getting caught with other people's business; let alone their love lives. that type of stuff never caught his interest. if being honest, bokuto could care less about things like love or being in a relationship.

but daishou and kuroo's relationship has been bothering him a lot lately.

he knew something was up the moment the two started to hangout more. before, both wouldn't even dare mention their little one night stand but it seems like nowadays, they're stuck by the hip.

whenever he texts kuroo, it's always the same.

oh, i'm with daishou.

nah i'm staying over at daishou's house.

i might go with daishou later.

it's honestly gotten suspicious.

and before bokuto knew, the two were suddenly friends with benefits? yeah no, that didn't seem right to him.

he's been stuck with the two since they were fourteen and bokuto can't name you a single moment where they have tolerated each other.
